Story
Boys just want to play, play, play. I am a 3 month old male boxer mix. I was a stray and ended up at the shelter. I am a big love bug and want to be with my human. I am loving playing with other dogs but they often do not like to me in their space. When that happens I go about my business. I want to please the humans and will be a quick learner when it comes to manners. I am going to need a fenced in yard to play around in. I would like to have a canine friend but if my human is active and wants to play I will be okay. Because I am young, I will need to work on training including housebreaking. I am doing well in a crate when I need to be but again I want to be next to my human. I am learning to play with toys and liking the toys. I am hoping I will find someone that will love me and play with me. I will need a lot os pets and treats. If this is your home fill out an application and someone will be in touch with you. If interested in giving Odie a forever home, please complete an application at www.safeanimalhaven.com.June 10, 2024, 12:21 am

Introducing Paris. Woof! Woof! I'm Paris, the heart-melting pup overflowing with love and loyalty! My tail wags a thousand times a minute when I'm with my people, and snuggles are my absolute favorite. I'm playful and affectionate, ready to shower you with joy and laughter every day! Though I adore my humans to the moon and back, I have to admit, sharing them isn't my strong suit. I dream of finding a perfect family where I can be the center of attention, without any other furry distractions. Trust me, you won't need anyone else once you see my adorable antics and feel my warm, fuzzy cuddles. Let's make a pact to be inseparable! Story
Bonney is a nine-week-old sweet baby and loves to get picked up and cuddled. Bonney currently weighs in at around 12 pounds, is vaccinated for her age and ready for a new home! Bonney is listed as a Boxer on shelter records, but we are not quite for sure about that. Bonney loves to give many kisses and is so adorable, but like any puppy has a lot of energy, is very intelligent and active, and loves a good snack. She already learned how to sit and play fetch. She is progressing with house training and has not had a single accident inside, and she is working on crate training. Bonnie is the most loving puppy and deserves the best forever home, we don’t expect her to be here long, so get your applications in now! If you are interested in adopting Bonney, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. Adoption is a suggested donation of no less than $200 to $300, based on age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **June 24, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog? maybe? Size: Large; currently 70+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes ---------- Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kid-Friendly: Needs a home with kids over 12 years This sweet girl came to the rescue in need of bowel obstruction surgery after she thought a sock was a yummy snack. She made it through surgery and has been recovering nicely! Bella Vida is quite shy and a bit hesitant to open up to new people, so she is looking for a patient family that will give her time and let her know she is safe. Bella Vida is selective with her dog friends and may do better with male dogs. She is looking for a house with no small children and would thrive with an active family with older kids. Bella Vida loves to go on daily walks and will play fetch for hours! She will always follow up these play sessions with a cuddle session on the couch. She loves deconstructing stuffed toys and sometimes her bedding. We would recommend caution in allowing Bella Vida unsupervised access to toys due to her recent sock-eating debacle. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
Well hello MINNIE! Quick Facts: Breed: Boxer X Age: 7-8 years old (as of 2/2024) Weight: Around 50# House/Crate Trained: Yes & Yes! This sweet soul was an owner surrender to a shelter, severely underweight at a mere 30#. As a result, Minnie was diagnosed with EPI - exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and will need to eat dog food for sensitive stomachs, sprinkled with an enzyme powder that allows her body to absorb and digest the food she's eating. She LOVES to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has the world's best zoomies & will wrestle until her heart's content, BUT Minnie quickly falls victim to rainy days and nights, turning into a couch potato at the first sign of precipitation or at sundown, whichever comes first. She will curl up on the couch next to her favorite person and chew on a bone/toy while binging your favorite shows. She is so incredibly loving and so so happy. This girl enjoys long walks or car rides that lead to the park or snacks. But one thing Minnie does NOT enjoy is the thought of sharing her snacks or food (Same, Minnie, same). While Minnie learns that food & snacks are now an unlimited resource, she will need to be fed separately & given treats separately from other animals. She can be a little protective of her bones when she's trying to relax, but has a tendency to only boss around the submissive ones in the house, leaving her head honcho foster brother out of the warnings. Minnie walks well on a leash, but pulls when she gets excited & will need continued training. She is house trained & crate trained, relaxing in there while her foster mom is out of the house. She has not been cat or kid tested. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Minnie is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Baby is a very sweet, loving girl. She loves attention and requires lots of it! She loves being pet and will give you kisses. She is great with kids, loves them! She is high energy so I can see her in a home that has boys with a lot of energy. She loves to go on walks. When we rescued her she was very underweight and now she is overweight, so she is on lower calorie food. She also has not been getting the exercise she needs as my other dog is very dominant, she stays in the crate a lot when I am not home. We live in a townhouse so there is not much yard to play around it. We were hoping to buy property so we can separate them but that does not look like its coming anytime soon. I have a hard time walking her as she does pull and is very strong. I had just had 2 knee surgeries so its harder for me to get her out and my fiance works a lot. At best, she gets walked 1-2 times a day but could use more. She does know basic commands, sit and stay, go to your bed, do you want to go for a walk?
