I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker.If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. But the amazing people here immediately got me the surgery I needed and I am now fully recovered and ready to conquer the world!   I’m an active dog who loves to run, jump, and play. I’m also very intelligent and need mental stimulation to prevent boredom. Like many Rottweilers, I thrive on having a job to do. If you don’t provide me with one, I might find my own. Once I’ve channeled my energy, I become a very sweet affectionate and cuddly companion. I’m eager to find my forever home and embark on new adventures.   I’m up to date on all my vet visits, housebroken, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. I know how to sit and shake. I will climb in your lap if you let me, I love to snuggle and I am very affectionate. I love to go for rides in the car, play at the park and go for walks on trails. I am friendly with people and love to play. I love to play ball and enjoy playing with the other rottweiler safe toys that my foster mom gives me. My favorite toy to play with is a giant rope bone! I do well with female dogs, but I do not get along with other male dogs. And as far as I am concerned cats look like great chew toys to me, so foster Mom says I need a home without cats.    I would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard where I can run and play, and with an owner who can provide leadership for me. Boys just want to play, play, play. I am a 3 month old male boxer mix. I was a stray and ended up at the shelter. I am a big love bug and want to be with my human. I am loving playing with other dogs but they often do not like to me in their space. When that happens I go about my business. I want to please the humans and will be a quick learner when it comes to manners. I am going to need a fenced in yard to play around in. I would like to have a canine friend but if my human is active and wants to play I will be okay. Because I am young, I will need to work on training including housebreaking. I am doing well in a crate when I need to be but again I want to be next to my human. I am learning to play with toys and liking the toys.
