Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

I’m a medium-size girl, about 45 pounds, and I’m still a youngster – my estimated birth date is February 2024.It’s no coincidence that the humans at HSYC love me. I’m a great leash walker and a super-sweet girl. I also know my basic skills, like sit and down.If you’d love to have an easy-going companion to hang out with, come meet me!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

This sweet girl was rescued off a property where she was living in the crate seen in the second photo. She is approximately 5 months old and currently >25 lbs. We aren’t certain of exact breeding, though we were told the adults on the property were mixed with rott, cattle dog, and possibly catahoula - all very intelligent breeds with a high drive and will need dedicated owners willing to put in the work for training! What we know so far about Daisy: A little shy at first but gets comfy quickly with new people Dog & Cat friendly Loves bones & balls Medium energy Extremely affectionate Always wagging her tail Needs patience for crate training Interested in meeting Daisy? Story
My dogs name is nugget and he’s a really really really great loving dog! He is house trained, great with people and my kids. I have never walked him with a leash ever he’s knows not to go in the street, pretty much just let him do his thing we don’t have a backyard in my townhome community so we have a little area where he knows to do his thing. He does have allergies, I’ve been giving him apoquel for his allergies about one a day and it seems to do the trick. He does have some skin issues on his back from before the apoquel and we were trying to figure out how to help him but other than that he just wants to play all day. I’m starting a trucking career oct 28th and unfortunately I won’t be able to bring him with me and my wife doesn’t like dogs he was pretty much mine so gonna have to find him a new home
