Story
Mighty Moose is a goofy fun, confident, fun loving, giant goof ball that is ready to find his forever home. Not only is he a goof ball but he also has a super gentle side to him as well. He is so great at adjusting his energy to whatever is needed at the time. He met a 3 year old toddler and was so gentle with him and was very comfortable and relaxed around him as well. Watch his personality here: https://youtu.be/W_1uJ4OpfP0?si=qwM2yxNklu-qCs2v Mighty Moose is believed to be a Rottie lab mix approximately 2 years old and currently weights 90 lbs. He's a big boy with a lot of love to give. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We can guarantee that you'll be getting an amazing dog that will be your best bud for the rest of their life. Mighty Moose is very dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced him to. He even did great with a very spicy female shepherd that was just learning how to play with dogs. She loved him and he was very respectful and mindful of her. He loved playing with a super goofy young male dog that loves to rough house. We did introduce him to two small dogs and our resident cat and we believe he would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats as he was a little too interested. We believe Mighty Moose would also do best in a home with a backyard where he can run around and play and also with a semi active family that will want to take him on adventures. He is medium energy and will be a great companion to take on hikes, long walks in the neighborhood or even if you wanted to take him to a dog friendly venue. He loves people and does great meeting new people. He knows no stranger! Mighty Moose is treat motivated and will need continued training and a family that will be willing to continue his training and socialization to ensure that he remains the best dog he can be. It would also be beneficial if his future adopters have prior experience or knowledge with the breed as well. We are willing to test Mighty Moose with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Zoe is a big, lean girl and is about 70 pounds. She will be 3 years old this August. She came to me via a shelter in LA, where she had been for 400 days, more than half of her young life. She was surrendered to them when she was 6 months old. She is a lover and very sweet, and thinks she’s a lap dog. It may take her a short time for her to warm up, as she is quite shy and will be skittish with new people. She seems to warm up to women more quickly than men. She is still a little hesistant of new surrounds but she is OPEN to it. It takes her a little time but she does warm up to new surroundings and new people. She got to meet a new dog today and although she was a little weary in the beginning, she did want to investigate more after a few minutes and she did great! Just imagine being stuck in the same place for your whole life and suddenly being thrown into a new gigantic environment. It is super stressful. I'd say Zoe Bear is killin it! She loves her little ducky and doing zoomies in the yard. She walks pretty well on a leash and has been working with our lovely trainer Shannon at DoggyTech to master it! She is a rough play-er so being in a home with dogs her size would be best. She is a super lover so once she gets used to you, she will lick you to pieces! She likes men, but again, it might take her a minute to get used to them. She is potty trained, vaccinated, and ready to start her furever!

Story
Rottweiler Mix 18 months old Female 60 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I’ve been flying high but feeling a little lost. I might have gotten off course a little because I can’t quite see love through all these clouds. That is my destination: a loving forever family, caring people who want a sweetie like me in their life. I don’t think it should be too hard to come by, but I am still trying to navigate my way there. Sure, I can be a little timid when I first meet new people, but I am up into a sweet and playful girl, so I won’t mind respectful kids 6+ as co-pilots. I love other dogs and am used to sharing my home with various sized pups, but kitty cats won’t fly. My crate training is also going very well, and I am housebroken so I know how to keep my cockpit spotless! Maybe you can help me navigate out of this fog of uncertainty and find it in your heart to get me back on a trajectory of love! My adoption fee is $240 and includes spay microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance for Oregon residents, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
