I saved Queen from euthanasia and she is looking for her forever home. She just turned 6 but has hip dysplasia and she needs a mellow one story home where she can relax and enjoy the remainder of her retirement years. She is a social butterfly and loves all people. She still has a successful prey drive so no small animals including small dogs. Bigger dogs are no problem. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch, lay around outside, go for leisurely walks, get pets from strangers, and most of all eat whatever you are eating. 💕 6 years old, spayed, 90ish lbs 💕 Loves all people and children older than 5 💕 No small animals including small dogs 💕 Has bad hips, can do some stairs but best if she is in a home with no stairs. 💕 Still must go on walks, 2-3 blocks 2 times a day is best 💕 Located in Portland but willing to travel for the right home Videos available. HI - I'M MORGAN, and I'm a large (90-pound-plus) 6-year-old male Rottweiler in need of a forever home. I've been waiting quite awhile for the right person or people to come along. I'm a very loyal Rottie and will be loving and protective to my person. I especially love women though would do fine with the right guy. I'm not fond of farm animals, and I'm also not a fan of some veterinarians. I do have some arthritis, so stairs do not work for me. I'm also bit flat-footed now and then, but nobody will notice. I currently take inexpensive glucosamine dog treats, which help greatly. Rottweiler or big-dog experience is essential! I would do best with a single person or a couple who wants a loyal companion and who has experience with the breed. I would also do best in a quiet home where my person or people are my world. Story

Bear is a 4 year old Doberman Labrador mix. Up to date on his shots, he’s chipped as well as neutered. No medical issues. He’s a very sweet boy, great with other dogs, kids, and loves all people. He needs a home with a big backyard and a lot of space to run. He has a prey drive so no small animals - he will chase squirrels, skunks, possums etc and bark at deer and livestock. He is good with my cats but I would introduce him to new cats gradually and with caution. He doesn’t do well by himself so ideally he should go to a home with at least one other dog or someone who is home most of the time. He loves love and will cuddle with you all day if you let him. He knows quite a few commands and I’ve been working with him on learning tricks. His favorite game is tug o war but he doesn’t like playing it with other dogs, he loves to wrestle with other dogs though and always has a blast at dog parks. He’s good on a leash and loves going for car rides. Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome, healthy and rugged 10-year-old Rottie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle in the evenings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have MANY positive traits - I am affectionate (I love to give hugs once I know you!), I walk well on a leash, and I am a very loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with some dogs (especially females), I can be reactive on a leash. 7.5 months old, adopted her at 3 months. Found abandoned in a park, brought to a neighbor, who put her up on NextDoor and five hours later she came home with me! She is the sweetest, silliest, FUNNIEST girl -- probably 5 of 7 days a week, I end up with either my face or abs sore from laughing. She needs new people because she has turned out to be a high-energy girl. Based on her appearance and vibe, neighbor lady and I were thinking pitty/labby. I've had both and known several others well, but it soon became clear that we were working with something else. Cue the DNA test: 42% boxer, 38% pit, 13% Staffy, 7% supermutt. I am now having a significant and debilitating health issue, single/live alone, and am just not able to give her as much exercise and interaction as she needs. We have given it our all, she's just not happy, and it breaks my heart. She needs 2+ people -- solo person having sick/off days really affects her. She will absolutely THRIVE with more people/activity.
