At a little over a year old and 63 lbs, this beautiful Rottweiler/Shepherd mix (best guess, of course) is still discovering the world, and every day her playful, affectionate personality grows. Some puppies arrive with a whole lot of potential and a whole lot of work ahead of them. Iggie somehow seems to have gotten a head start on both the growing up and the good stuff. At only about four months old, she already knows how to settle into home life, sleep quietly through the night, ride along in the car, walk on a leash and sit at your feet looking up at you with love and attentiveness. She's still wonderfully puppy, ball-chasing, toy-loving, pool-splashing and playful, but there is a calmness underneath it all that makes Iggie feel like a particularly easy dog to fall for. She lives with another dog and cats, has children who regularly come over to visit and has been given the kind of early socialization that can make such a difference for a young puppy. She has learned that home is a place to relax, people are worth listening to and everyday life is fun! Her foster shared that Iggie is already house and crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. She's great in the car, has her basic leash skills down and already knows sit. Hand her a treat and she takes it gently. Ask for her attention and those little brown eyebrows turn your direction. For such a young dog, she has a surprisingly thoughtful way of interacting with people. She's affectionate and connected without needing to be all over you every second, and that lovely balance is a big part of what makes her so easy to enjoy. But please don't mistake “calm and attentive” for boring. Iggie has plenty of puppy tucked inside that beautiful black coat. She loves toys and especially loves a ball, whether she's fetching it or inventing her own game. She also enjoys what her foster lovingly refers to as “swimming.” In Iggie's case, that currently means happily getting into the pool and enjoying herself while actual swimming technique remains a work in progress. We respect the confidence. And yes, she really is that pretty. Iggie has a thick black coat with warm brown paws, markings and two perfect little brown eyebrows that give her face so much expression. We believe she is likely a hound mix, possibly with some Doberman or Rottweiler in the family tree, but rescue rules apply and breed is always our best guess. Whatever is in there, we suspect she's going to grow into one gorgeously striking dog. The best part about Iggie is how easy it is to imagine the life ahead of her. Weekend walks and car rides. A basket of toys she slowly distributes across your entire house. Fetch in the backyard. Kids coming through the door. Another dog nearby. A quiet night tucked into her crate after a day spent being part of the family. Sunny is the sweetest, most loving and wonderful boy to have graced my life. He is five years old, extremely silly, and needs a home that has experience with reactive and anxious dogs. Sunny is primarily leash and dog-reactive. He has no bite history. He truly is just a fluffy sweetheart who suffers with anxiety. Sunny has successfully lived with two dogs in the past, and tends to calm down around other dogs when meeting them one on one and getting used to them. Most of his behavior results from a mixture of anxiety and excitement as opposed to aggression.I used to live in a home with a large backyard for him to run around in, but have recently moved to a place with a much smaller yard. I am disabled, and both physically and financially struggling to care for him. Some puppies arrive with a whole lot of potential and a whole lot of work ahead of them. Iggie somehow seems to have gotten a head start on both the growing up and the good stuff. At only about four months old, she already knows how to settle into home life, sleep quietly through the night, ride along in the car, walk on a leash and sit at your feet looking up at you with love and attentiveness. She's still wonderfully puppy, ball-chasing, toy-loving, pool-splashing and playful, but there is a calmness underneath it all that makes Iggie feel like a particularly easy dog to fall for. She lives with another dog and cats, has children who regularly come over to visit and has been given the kind of early socialization that can make such a difference for a young puppy. She has learned that home is a place to relax, people are worth listening to and everyday life is fun! Her foster shared that Iggie is already house and crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. She's great in the car, has her basic leash skills down and already knows sit. Hand her a treat and she takes it gently. Ask for her attention and those little brown eyebrows turn your direction. For such a young dog, she has a surprisingly thoughtful way of interacting with people. She's affectionate and connected without needing to be all over you every second, and that lovely balance is a big part of what makes her so easy to enjoy. But please don't mistake “calm and attentive” for boring. Iggie has plenty of puppy tucked inside that beautiful black coat. She loves toys and especially loves a ball, whether she's fetching it or inventing her own game. She also enjoys what her foster lovingly refers to as “swimming.” In Iggie's case, that currently means happily getting into the pool and enjoying herself while actual swimming technique remains a work in progress. We respect the confidence. And yes, she really is that pretty. Iggie has a thick black coat with warm brown paws, markings and two perfect little brown eyebrows that give her face so much expression. We believe she is likely a hound mix, possibly with some Doberman or Rottweiler in the family tree, but rescue rules apply and breed is always our best guess. Whatever is in there, we suspect she's going to grow into one gorgeously striking dog. The best part about Iggie is how easy it is to imagine the life ahead of her. Weekend walks and car rides. A basket of toys she slowly distributes across your entire house. Fetch in the backyard. Kids coming through the door. Another dog nearby. A quiet night tucked into her crate after a day spent being part of the family. She already has so many of the building blocks people hope for in a puppy, and she has the sweet, steady temperament to keep building on them. Iggie isn't finished growing up, of course. My pet, T2 (Teacake) I acquired from a work colleague. He is 8 years old. I want the new owners to provide a safe, and happy quarter for my T2. He is playful, loves ball games, peanut butter, and is spoiled. Observant, eager to be petted, and loves to play.

Bear is a 4 year old Doberman Labrador mix. Up to date on his shots, he’s chipped as well as neutered. No medical issues. He’s a very sweet boy, great with other dogs, kids, and loves all people. He needs a home with a big backyard and a lot of space to run. He has a prey drive so no small animals - he will chase squirrels, skunks, possums etc and bark at deer and livestock. He is good with my cats but I would introduce him to new cats gradually and with caution. He doesn’t do well by himself so ideally he should go to a home with at least one other dog or someone who is home most of the time. He loves love and will cuddle with you all day if you let him. He knows quite a few commands and I’ve been working with him on learning tricks. His favorite game is tug o war but he doesn’t like playing it with other dogs, he loves to wrestle with other dogs though and always has a blast at dog parks. He’s good on a leash and loves going for car rides. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Home is Jennie Jane favorite place... mostly because that's where all her favorite people are. She's the kind of dog that reminds you the best days don't have to be exciting. Sometimes they look like a lazy Sunday on the couch, a family movie night, a few extra hugs before bed, and everyone laughing because Jennie decided it was time for another howling duet. Her foster mom and her 12-year-old son both say one of their favorite things about Jennie is how incredibly snuggly she is. And if a siren happens to go by? Get ready. Jennie has a habit of singing right along with it. Better yet, if you start howling first, she'll happily join in. It's become one of those silly little traditions that always makes her foster family laugh. As with any rescue dog, her exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is she's a Doberman mix. Whatever combination created her also gave her a heart of gold, the sweetest snuggles, and some pretty impressive vocal talents. One of our favorite things about Jennie is that she truly knows how to relax. While some dogs are always looking for the next adventure, Jennie is perfectly content spending quality time at home with the people she loves most. Her foster describes her as having medium to low energy, and we think she'd happily choose a cozy evening on the couch over a busy day out just about every time. She doesn't need constant entertainment or endless activity to be happy. As long as she's with her people, she's exactly where she wants to be. Jennie is currently fostered in a home with a 12-year-old boy, and the two have become the sweetest little buddies. She absolutely adores cuddling with him and has shown what a wonderful companion she can be for respectful children. We think she'd do beautifully with a family that has kids who understand that sometimes the best way to earn Jennie's affection is simply to let her come to you. That same thoughtful personality carries over when she meets new people. Her foster family regularly hosts everything from holiday gatherings to Sunday football watch parties, and Jennie handles visitors beautifully. She'll happily greet everyone when they arrive, but she isn't the type that's immediately climbing into strangers' laps looking for attention. Instead, she'll say hello, quietly do her own thing, and then, once she's decided you're a friend, she'll wander over looking for pets and cuddles. Give her about an hour, and chances are you'll have a new best friend leaning against your leg. Jennie is also wonderful with other dogs. She's currently fostered with both a small male Dachshund mix and a larger male Pittie mix, and she gets along great with both of them. Like she does with people, she simply appreciates slow, respectful introductions. She's not a fan of dogs that rush into her space before she's had a chance to say hello, but once everyone's comfortable, she's an absolute blast to watch. Her foster says she's great at matching the other dog's play style. If her friends are in the mood for a rough-and-rowdy wrestling match, she's all in. If they'd rather play an easy game of chase around the yard, she's just as happy doing that too. Jennie is also cat tolerant and earned Biggie the cat's stamp of approval by politely respecting his space and going about her day. Jennie isn't looking for a family that's constantly on the go. She's looking for the people who appreciate slow mornings, movie marathons, football Sundays, and evenings spent together at home. Honestly, “Ann Marie” feels a little too formal for a dog whose greatest passions in life are naps, snacks, belly rubs, and aggressively cuddling anyone who dares sit down near her. This girl is basically a professional snuggler. She may not have the trophy to prove it, but she is fully convinced she won first place years ago. Her signature move? The Belly Roll™. The second she senses affection might be available, she’ll dramatically plop onto her back, wiggle-wiggle across the couch, and patiently wait for her spa treatment. We think she may be a boxer/beagle mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! She’s happy to snooze beside you during a movie marathon, supervise your patio lunch date, join you for a beach day, or accompany you on leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. She’s got enough goofy sparkle left to make you laugh every day, but none of the “chaos gremlin” energy that comes with younger dogs. She is the perfect mix of silly and settled. Her foster says she spends most of her day happily napping on the couch, and honestly? She’s extremely talented at it. Ann Marie absolutely adores people. She lights up around affection and naturally gravitates toward human companionship wherever she goes. She’s lived with a child and done wonderfully, and her foster says she’s been around large groups of people in the home and happily soaked up every ounce of attention. She’s the kind of dog who wants to quietly exist alongside her people, occasionally waddling over for kisses and couch cuddles before returning to her very important nap schedule. When it comes to other dogs, Ann Marie is very much a “thank you, but I already have my people” kind of girl. She’s confident, socially appropriate, and has shown respectful greetings and easy leash manners around other dogs, but she isn’t particularly interested in doggy friendships or chaotic playgroups. Her behavior team described her as more of a roamer who prefers calm energy and personal space. Because of that, Ann Marie would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home where she can fully relax and soak up all the attention. However, with the right match, she may also do well with a calm, confident, lower-energy male dog who respects boundaries and doesn’t try to constantly engage her. If there’s already another dog in the home, her rescue team would want a trainer discussion beforehand to help ensure it’s the right fit for everyone involved. She has also done well around cats, but she would do best with calm, dog-savvy kitties who mostly keep to themselves. Ann Marie isn’t looking for a feline wrestling partner, so playful cats who want to zoom around, swat at her, or constantly get in her face probably wouldn’t be her style. A mellow, respectful cat companion would be much more her speed. She’s house-trained, non-destructive, rides wonderfully in the car, walks beautifully on leash, and doesn’t need much exercise beyond short strolls and sniffy adventures. She would be an amazing apartment dog. And she would be just as content with a yard to sunbathe in. Her ideal home would probably involve comfy furniture, soft blankets, snacks magically appearing on schedule, and humans who appreciate the finer things in life… like afternoon naps and quiet companionship. If you’re an older couple, a retired homebody, or just someone searching for a loving best friend who wants to spend her golden years snuggled up beside you, Ann Marie might genuinely be your perfect match.
