Winnie was born on 11/6/22 to a rottie mom at the high kill shelter of Barc in Houston, Texas. Winnie is now a 16 months old puppy who weighs 45 lbs. She is very loving, and loves to get affection. She is highly intelligent, sensitive, energetic and will do great with an active family. She will love to have a second young or playful dog in her forever home. She is very smart, and loves to learn. A fully fenced yard will be mandatory for her. She even tolerates her kittie foster siblings although we will prefer a home without cats. Winnie is about 45 lbs, current on vaccination, spayed and microchipped. Winnie is being fostered in Texas, but can be adopted anywhere in the States, even Canada. To adopt our puppies, yards, if any, must be fully and adequately fenced. We do not accept invisible fences. She was found as a stray and invited to stay a few days at her finder's home. She might know something about house training but please be patient if she needs more guidance. She rode well in his car, looking out the window the entire time. She is jumpy and pulls while on a leash. She is strong and weighs 67 pounds. She knows the sit command. She loved playing with her finder's puppy and is interested in her shelter neighbors. We haven't seen her around children yet. She is curious, quiet, and playful.
