Story
Delta is a beautiful ~4-year-old Rottweiler who should be closer to 90 lbs - but today she’s just 76 lbs, clearly underweight and recovering from a life that asked far too much of her. She came to us as a stray, but her condition tells a clearer story. We suspect she was used for breeding and then discarded. Despite that, Delta remains incredibly gentle - soft in a way that feels intentional, not broken. She is sweet, quiet, and deeply sensitive. She doesn’t demand attention - she observes, processes, and slowly leans in when she feels safe. It’s subtle, but it’s there. Right now, the world still feels overwhelming. Loud noises startle her, and sudden movement can make her pause. But in a calm, steady environment, she is already beginning to settle. You can see her trying. Nova is not difficult - she’s undernourished, overstimulated, and learning what safety feels like. What Delta needs: A foster or forever home with a calm, low-traffic environment A patient, grounded person who won’t rush her Consistency, structure, and space to decompress Someone who understands that trust is built over time What you’ll get in return: A gentle, loyal companion A dog who will form a deep, meaningful bond The opportunity to watch a dog regain both strength and confidence She will gain weight. She will gain confidence. What matters now is that she gains a safe place to land. Nova is ready—for a foster or her forever home.May 30, 2026, 11:47 am

Story
This gentle Rottie mama came to us after being left behind at BARC when another rescue took her puppy but not her. We couldn’t let that be the end of her story. From the moment we met her, her calm, loving spirit won us over. Ceylon is wonderful with other dogs, confident and loyal — exactly what you’d expect from her breed. She’s well-mannered, keeps her kennel clean, and loves soft affection (and treats!). She’s about 5 years old and would thrive in a home where she can finally relax and be someone’s cherished companion. She is heartworm positive, which is common here, but she’s already in treatment, will be just fine, and it’s not contagious to pets or people. This girl deserves a home, not a kennel. If you’ve ever considered adopting, Ceylon will make it worth your while. Learn more at www.scoutshonor.org .March 8, 2026, 9:28 pm

Story
Earl is a friendly, high energy, intelligent and loyal dog. He loves to play, especially tug. He is about 9 months old and is doing great with training, already familiar with several basic commands. He is housebroken and well behaved - a real gentleman in the house - amazing for a young, high energy dog. He shows a lot of impulse control for his young age. He really wants to be a good boy, and has been very quick to pick up commands. He would do great with an owner who loves to be active and spend time outdoors. He loves to get exercise, play and go on a long walk, but also likes to chill and nap in the house. He has been great with the kids (age 10 and 7) and has been fine with the small dogs in his foster home. He is so intelligent, it seems that he would be amazing at having a job, like a search and rescue dog - he just needs a living situation where he can run around some and a human who is dedicated to his training and well-being.

Story
Nezzy is 5 years old and we got her 4 years ago we rescued her from a dumpster. We have put A LOT of time and training into Nezzy and she has the most caring and loving heart. My wife and I have a 8 month at home and we have finally come to terms that we just don't have time for her long stays in the kennel and not enough attention. Nezzy lives with one other dog and they get along but it took a long time for them to get along. Nezzy also went to daycare frequently before we had the baby and got along with almost all the dogs. That being said Nezzy has a very excited and vocal greeting most dogs don't react to well it takes them time to accumulate to her. I would not recommend just throwing her in with another dog all willy nilly. Nezzy is VERY food driven she will do anything for any type of food, she will literally eat anything if you let her! We have used this to help train her and in the past we used a shock collar using the sound and vibration as she responds well to those.

Story
He is very playful and absolutely loves playing catch — he could chase a ball all day if you let him! He also loves to eat and gets very excited for mealtime and treats. He’s amazing with kids and does well with other dogs. He just wants to be part of the family and be included in everything. He’s affectionate, loyal. This has been such a hard decision for us, but we want him to have the time, attention, and space he truly deserves. We are looking for a loving, responsible home that will treat him like family. Serious inquiries only — we just want the very best forever home for our boy. 🐾💙
