Bruno is a 4 year old Rottweiler pup who is a really sweet boy. He loves to play with his new toy and enjoy chilling in the yard. He was rescued from a very high kill shelter of Houston, where he was a staff favorite, that kept him alive. He loves to give kisses and lay on you. He is very loving and extremely loyal. As every rottie, Bruno is very strong, and needs a strong handler who will be able to take him on walks if needed. Bruno is very affectionate and adorable. He hugs his foster dad when he returns from work, and is very velcro with him. Unfortunately, they have two other rottie mixes, making it hard to adopt this sweet pup. Therefore they want to make sure that Bruno finds the best home possible. Bruno is also very smart and sensitive. He is extremely well-behaved, quiet, calm, and obedient. He likes to please and hardly ever barks. A home with a fully fenced yard is mandatory, as well as parents with rottweiler experience. Bruno is currently about 110 lb and growing, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Sweet Bruno is being fostered in Houston, but can be transported anywhere, as long as it’s the best home for him. This gentle Rottie mama came to us after being left behind at BARC when another rescue took her puppy but not her. We couldn’t let that be the end of her story. From the moment we met her, her calm, loving spirit won us over. Ceylon is wonderful with other dogs, confident and loyal — exactly what you’d expect from her breed. She’s well-mannered, keeps her kennel clean, and loves soft affection (and treats!). She’s about 5 years old and would thrive in a home where she can finally relax and be someone’s cherished companion. She is heartworm positive, which is common here, but she’s already in treatment, will be just fine, and it’s not contagious to pets or people. This girl deserves a home, not a kennel. Tina is an absolutely delightful and incredibly playful Rottweiler mix, brimming with charm and a wonderfully silly personality. Her days are happily structured around her three favorite activities: enjoying delicious meals, indulging in cozy naps, and engaging in energetic play sessions with her foster siblings. Her energy level is moderate; she enjoys active play but is equally content to snuggle up for a nap.While generally very loving and outgoing, Tina can exhibit a touch of timidity when introduced to new situations or unfamiliar faces. However, she quickly warms up and reveals her affectionate nature once she feels safe and comfortable in her surroundings. She`s a smart girl with a good heart, and while she`s still mastering her manners and can occasionally be a bit selective about listening, her motivation for tasty treats is incredibly high, making her very responsive to positive reinforcement training. Tina is doing remarkably well with her house-training. She consistently takes care of her business outside, though as she is still a young learner, occasional indoor accidents can occur, especially if she gets overly excited or forgets her cues. She is making fantastic progress in this area!She loves to welcome us showering us with enthusiastic kisses and happy `hugs` her way of leaning into you with wiggles and pure affection. She truly has a heart full of love to give.

Nezzy is 5 years old and we got her 4 years ago we rescued her from a dumpster. We have put A LOT of time and training into Nezzy and she has the most caring and loving heart. My wife and I have a 4 month at home and we have finally come to terms that we just don't have time for her long stays in the kennel and not enough attention. Nezzy lives with one other dog and they get along but it took a long time for them to get along. Nezzy also went to daycare frequently before we had the baby and got along with almost all the dogs. That being said Nezzy has a very excited and vocal greeting most dogs don't react to well it takes them time to accumulate to her. I would not recommend just throwing her in with another dog all willy nilly. Nezzy is VERY food driven she will do anything for any type of food, she will literally eat anything if you let her! We have used this to help train her and in the past we used a shock collar using the sound and vibration as she responds well to those.

He is very playful and absolutely loves playing catch — he could chase a ball all day if you let him! He also loves to eat and gets very excited for mealtime and treats. He’s amazing with kids and does well with other dogs. He just wants to be part of the family and be included in everything. He’s affectionate, loyal. This has been such a hard decision for us, but we want him to have the time, attention, and space he truly deserves. We are looking for a loving, responsible home that will treat him like family.
