Story
Meet Rocky! Rocky is a handsome Rottie–Bully mix who is 4 years old (turning 5 in June). I’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he has grown into an extremely smart, loyal, and well-trained dog. Rocky thrives with a confident owner who is comfortable with larger dogs and able to provide clear leadership. He loves playing fetch and is very food-motivated, which makes training and bonding fun and rewarding. Rocky gets along well with my other dog and can do well with some dogs, though he prefers slow introductions and may not be compatible with every dog. Unfortunately, Rocky had a negative experience where a child hurt him, and since then he does not do well around children. For this reason, he would do best in an adult-only home. Rocky will thrive in a home where he receives daily walks, regular playtime, and mental engagement. He’s a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys being active and spending quality time with their dog.

Story
Meet Ella! Ella is a sweet, 2-year-old female Boxer who came to us as a stray, so not much is known about her past. However, her foster parents have gotten to know her well and can attest to her lovable personality and clever nature!Ella is housebroken, though she doesn’t give obvious signals, so her adopter will need to monitor her after meals and drinks. She is incredibly smart—she can even open doors by jumping and hitting the handle! She has a bit of prey drive, so she would do best in a home without small pets. This fun-loving girl enjoys leash walks, though she can get very excited and would benefit from some basic training. Ella is also a big snuggler and loves curling up on the couch with her people.Ella is not spayed yet, and she may not be adopted until her surgery, which is scheduled for December 17, 2025. However, her foster/adopter may care for her in a foster-to-adopt arrangement until she is able to be officially adopted. PRAS will provide food, a leash, and a collar for her foster term. The foster/adopter will be responsible for transporting her to and from the shelter for her surgery. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and playful Boxer to join your family, Ella might be the perfect match!
