Story
This sweet girl deserved a second chance, so I pulled her from the shelter—and she has been amazing ever since. She’s about 1–2 years old and loves to play ball. She’s currently learning leash manners and basic obedience and is eager to please. She does very well with adults. Since her history with younger children is unknown, a home with kids 15+ would be best. She’s great during bath time and loves being close to her person, happily sitting with you wherever you are. She’s an incredibly sweet, alert girl who always seems to know what’s going on around her. She would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention from her people. Cats are unknown. She’s ready for a loving home of her own. 🐾

Story
Meet Where the Wild Things Are-an 8-month-old Rottweiler with a big name and an even bigger personality! Brought in as a stray, this adventurous young guy is ready to leave the wild behind and find a home of his own.True to his name, he's curious, busy, and always on the move-there's a whole world out there, and he wants to check it all out! He's friendly with people, but has a short attention span and tends to follow his nose, so he'll thrive with structure, enrichment, and guidance to help him focus. He does have some anxiety and will need a patient adopter who can help him feel secure while continuing his training. Because of his size, strength, and personality, he's looking for a breed-experienced home that understands Rottweilers and is ready to provide consistent leadership.Where the Wild Things Are should be the only pet in the home-he's currently too intense and hormonally driven for other dogs, and he is not a good fit for cats. He also has some food guarding behaviors, so a home with kids 10+ is recommended, along with mindful management around meals.Where the Wild Things Are is also enrolled in Forever Home Fundamentals, our positive-reinforcement training program focused on building trust and teaching basic obedience skills like sit, down, stay, and touch. Through multiple one-on-one sessions each week, he is gaining confidence and developing new skills to thrive in his forever home! With the right person, this wild child has all the potential to grow into a loyal, confident, and deeply devoted companion. If you're experienced, committed, and ready for a little adventure, Where the Wild Things Are might just be your perfect match 🌟 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 59 Age: 0yrs 8mths 3wks
