She enjoyed going hiking. She enjoys playing with toys and her sister and mamma at the boarding facility she is currently living at until her furever family comes. Not sure how she is with cats, children 10+ . Lia is microchipped, up to date on her vaccines and spayed Lia is so gentle, she would love a home that will allow her to flourish. Annie is a 6 yrs old, sweet, loving gal who is great with people, & has never met a stranger. She was at our county shelter for 9 months and landed on the euthanasia list, due to space. We couldn’t stand to see her euthanized, as she was well loved by staff & volunteers alike, who were all advocating for her. Unfortunately, she does not get along with other dogs and I have been unsuccessful in intragrating her with the other 2 dogs in the home. Her positive traits are endless as she is crate trained, house trained, loves her stuffed animal, car rides, sunning herself and hanging out with people. She is lower energy and would fit into a variety of homes & likely would do well with older kids. She would be most successful and happiest in a home without other pets. She comes with a free training session, if potential adopter would like to utilize to help in the transition. She’s an amazing girl who deserves the world and we want to see her thriving in a loving family who adores her.

Belly is a sweet, 10-year-old pit bull mix who belonged to my uncle for the past eight years. He adopted her after she was in a car accident and almost died. She was his only dog and they were inseparable. When he became disabled and wheelchair bound, she stayed by his side at all times. When he died in hospice three weeks ago, she was under his bed. She still has puppy energy. She loves a walk, but is ready to come home after 1 mile. When other dogs bark at her, she ignores them and keeps walking. She is not okay with cats and can't be placed in a home that has any. But she is fine with other dogs and loving humans. She is super affectionate. She loves to have her belly rubbed and to snuggle on the sofa against a human watching TV. She has a strong stomach and can eat any kind of food without upset. She is protective of her humans and barks when they first get into a pool (she calms down after a few minutes) or when big noisy trucks pass by.
