Link to Betty's Video! https://youtu.be/lOKEdixfltA In need of a 50 lb ball of furry sunshine to brighten your days? Betty White is your girl! This lovely lady enjoys spending her days sunbathing, receiving belly rubs, and playing with her foster siblings. She plays fair and would prefer an environment of animals her size that are just as friendly as she. Small dogs and cats might not be able to handle all her beauty and fun, so it’s best her future owners have friends her size. In a safe and loving home, this sweet girl will fill your days with laughter and fun-loving splendor. Betty White is ready for her new home as she is housebroken, and thrilled to learn new skills with her new family.  In the times where she’s had her fill of playing outdoors, this big baby would love to rest right by your side ready for tummy rubs or treats (which she takes so gently)! Once properly introduced to her new family, Betty White you’ll keep wondering how such an amazing spirit joined your family.   Once properly introduced, she does GREAT with another playful dog (see her video of playing in the yard!  https://youtu.be/lOKEdixfltA ). She is not good with cats or smaller dogs but would do great with submissive dog or as an only dog.  How can you not fall in love with that grin? *Special needs/ongoing medical care: Betty tested for low levels of valley fever, she is on daily medication (Fluconozole) for this and is due for retesting soon to see if she can be taken off the medication. Story
Bennington is a Sharpei mix weighing about 65 pounds. As many Sharpeis do, he had some issues with his eye lids and had surgery to correct that while in rescue. All went very well and he's fully healed and ready to see the world. Bennington is a wonderful dog! He's happy-go-lucky, loving and very loyal. He's house trained and has been a joy to be around in his foster home. He's very well behaved. He's athletic and strong and would love to go on hikes and walks with you. Camping also sounds like fun! We think he would be happiest as your one and only pet. Bennington is neutered, vet checked, current on vaccines, licensed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. Contact Carrie On Rescue if you have any questions about Bennington or would like an application for him: email: carrieonrescuers@hotmail.com text: (480) 603-7680 Please note: we only do adoptions within the state of Arizona.

Story
Hi, my name is Zyrie, and I know you can't stop staring at my big beautiful nose and muzzle, admit it... Yes, this gorgeous schnoz is attached to fabulous me! I like to lead on walks, ride well in a car, I do like my crate, and I love adults!!! Kids throw me off a little, especially the little ones; I'd prefer to be the center of attention. Oh, and I love other dogs, but I especially like playing with their toys, pawing at them when asleep and having them play on my schedule, so just make sure I get to be in charge!!! I am housetrained, very affectionate, about 54 pounds (I love food and will counter surf), happy to go with you to work (I got to go with my foster dad to his military site and got to meet all kinds of people protecting our country and i loved everyone!!!). I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, micrchipped, and I've had eyelid entropion surgery. So, I'm all set for adoption!!! I am fostering in Tucson, Arizona. Are you my forever home?January 25, 2026, 11:43 am

Story
Do you need a ride or die in your life? Chloe Mei might be just the one! She is a two year old petite girl that is literally a pocket Pei. She only weighs 39 lbs This girl has done absolutely spectacular with every dog she has met...yep you read that correctly! Female dogs..no problem. Old grouchy dogs..no problem.  She loves to play so we would love a home with another playful dog that will check that box for her. We think she would do great with a dog savvy cat as this girl as no aggression and we have yet to see even the inkling of a prey drive. Kids in your life...Chloes likes them too. Want a dog that you can dress up...yep she enjoys that.  Love to go out for coffee at your local coffee shop..Chloe is up for that too. She loves a puppaccinno.  You like to Hike...yep she likes that  but can pull a bit on the leash. Her foster mom walks all three dogs at the same time and even though we think she is a bit like SuperWoman this is not a difficult girl to walk on a leash. Your dog makes a huge fuss at meal time...not Chloe. She is happy with whatever is on the menu. She is not a picky eater and in fact will compliment you on your cooking even if you are the type that tends to burn water. You prefer to sit on the couch and watch a good Netfix series...yep she likes that especially if it involves her cuddling on the couch with you and maybe a little popcorn. She LOVES snacks! This girl does like snuggling up to her people so if you don't like dogs and don't like being loved all over this IS NOT the dog for you. Looking for a Shar Pei with zero skin or eye issues. Chloe has a gorgeous velvet coat and she has already had her entropion surgery. House Trained...yep. Why would you ever get a puppy when you can have a Chloe? She would never dream of having an accident in the house! Love having lots of people to your house for the Holidays? Well this social butterfly is down for that too. Especially if her favorite people are invited over. Find barking dogs annoying..no worries this girl only barks when a new person enters the house. Hate crates...no problem this girl is so well behaved in the house she doesn't need one. Love crates..no problem she is totally fine with being crated. She sleeps in her crate in her foster home only because that is Chloe's favorite spot when its time to go to bed Your dream vacation is driving across the country and checking out all the beauty this country has to offer...no problem exactly what Chloe has on her bucket list as well! You like Beach vacations....She has the dog beach in San Diego on her bucket list as well. You like mountain vacations...well so does Chloe. Her foster family has a cabin and she adores the smell of pine trees and fresh air! If you are looking for MS PERFECT. Stop scrolling now and go to https://www.peipeople.com/adoption-application.html and fill out an application ASAP. This is seriously an awesome dog. She is loving, low-maintenance and will absolutely steal your heart She is fostering in Phoenix AZ      January 6, 2026, 1:12 pm

Story
Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Shelley, 310-344-1722, shelleycampeau@gmail.com:   MEET BEANS #2!! Temperament: Sweet, curious, and sometimes a little goofy. Loves to roll around and lay upside down on his back. He does have some separation anxiety – currently still managed with his trazadone from the shelter and being crated when I’m not in the home   . With a stable routine and happy home, I think this can be worked on and I think he’d do fine left alone outside of the crate. He has not shown any destructive behaviors. He has not shown any resource guarding with toys, treats, or food with me. Training: House- and crate-trained! He is a gem in the crate - happily goes into it with a couple treats when I leave the house (lays down and naps the whole time) and during the night for bedtime (he loves his green bean treats for nighttime). He knows “sit”, “paw”, “down”, and “wait” (for the okay to have his food). He’s very food motivated so he’s eager and easy to train. Activity level: Beans is always ready for a walk or other adventure, but he also loves a good nap on the couch. Want to go on a long walk or hike? Heck yes. Want to have a lazy Netflix day? Also yes. He’s the best of both worlds! He would do great in a home with a yard where he can roam and play, but he’s done well in an apartment with a couple good walks a day and a few potty breaks. A low-key routine is all he needs to stay a happy boy! Leash & social behavior: Mostly a loose-leash walker - he can pull a bit when he’s excited or he sees other dogs, but can be redirected with treats, especially at distances greater than ~50 ft. He’s pretty good with meeting people on walks and has been good with older children (10+; unknown with younger children or babies). He does have some stranger-danger for some people, so slow introductions and introducing people outside of the home have worked well. He’s done fine with both female and male sitters/visitors. Beans’ PACC notes recommended no other dogs due to behaviors noted in playgroup and dog introductions and an altercation with a small dog in his last foster home, so he’d be best as the only animal in the home. Reactivity: Leash reactivity - Beans will pull when he sees other dogs, but can be pretty easily redirected with treats and command if the other dog is ~50 ft or more away. He does not bark, growl, or bite at the leash when we’re on our walks. He is more reactive to small dogs (any kind) or larger dogs who appear reactive or aggressive towards him.  Barrier reactivity noted in his shelter notes. Also, I observed it in unknown, confined spaces where I think he feels threatened (e.g. vet office). His body language is very telling when this occurs - stiff body, straightened tail.  He can get startled easily, so as with most shelter dogs with unknown pasts, no surprise/forced handling. Other highlights: He is great on car rides, long or short. He is great at catching food or toys when you toss in the air. He is absolutely OBSESSED with playing in the hose! He has the cutest snores when he sleeps. He’s an A++ cuddler and napper – will snuggle up next to you on the couch or even come up on your lap (who doesn’t love a 50+lb lap dog?!) Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Aura, 480-865-5396, aura092204@gmail.com:   MEET LUCY #16!! Lucy's owner has had her for over 2 years and can easily say that she is one of a kind, simply the best dog ever. Her current owner feels extremely lucky to have come across a dog like her. She is making the heartbreaking decision to re-home her due to a multitude of personal reasons. Lucy will be an amazing dog. She deserves a family that can be active with her, continue training her and loving her to the fullest. She is an incredibly sweet dog with a silly, happy-go-lucy personality. She thrives on routine but can go with the flow most of the time, too. She’s a bit of a Velcro dog, but she does enjoy her “me-time” from time to time. She gets the zoomies frequently, loves to play keep-away with toys, cuddles and gives kisses all the time, she loves to be active but knows when to chill out on a lazy day. Lucy knows several commands and is very food motivated & eager to learn. She is housebroken and rarely gets herself into trouble. She’s honestly extremely well behaved considering what she’s lived through. The most she will do is get into the bathroom trash if the door is left open or dig outside occasionally, though this one was mainly when she was younger. Lucy has been left alone outside of her crate for more than 10 hours but eats in her crate and hangs out there frequently. She does not run out of the door. Lucy will probably do best as the only dog. She shows some resource guarding toward high value items. Lucy also has some reactivity to male strangers. After a proper introduction, this is not an issue. Lucy is a great dog overall that is looking for a new home to call her own. Meet Lucy today! If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Sweet ol' Hurricane Annie! She's been with the rescue for 9 years awaiting her forever home. She's only had one meet and greet the entire time (and that didn't go very well given how rambunctious she was when she was younger). Miss Annie has turned a new leaf in her older years. She's sweet, friendly, well trained, dog friendly (as long as the other dog is playful and submissive) and is great with kids.  She loves to snuggle in the bed, get "zoomies" but isn't a total hurricane anymore. Now, she's more of like one of those wind tunnels that come out of nowhere quickly with a burst of oomph but then are gone quickly and you're wondering what happened.   Annie loves to go on walks and is slowly learning that we don't have to be in a race, but she gets most of her exercise from swimming and running around the yard with her foster family.  *Annabelle is being treated for valley fever which includes daily AM/PM medication. She also get's an allergy shot every few months.
