Lobo is blooming! This is the boy you adopt if your pups have been asking for a friend. He adores other dogs. He will run and wrestle all day long. He will make you laugh with his antics. He loves to help with the gardening and will find all the sticks in the yard to pick up and carry around and will pull some tasty leaves off plants at his level So how about the downside of Lobo? Well he came to us from a breeder in Oklahoma that was shut down by the humane society. He is just a baby still but he had minimal contact with kind people early in his life. He is still scared to be pet but is coming up for some chin scratches especially if food is involved. He is finally taking treats from his foster mom and dad's hands which is a huge milestone for this guy. He easily shares his toys and food with other dogs. We have discovered he loves going for walks but walks better if he has a buddy with him. He has the most gorgeous merle brush coat ( I just wish he loved us petting him) Lobo sleeps on a dog bed in his foster's bedroom. He has never tried to get up on the bed as much as we beg him too! He does love to sleep on the sofa especially when no one is watching. This boy has finally had his eyes done and a mini brow lift and OMG he can see. He has the most gorgeous green brown eyes. Lobo's forever home will definitely need someone who is patient and will give him time to come around. He will need another dog or 10 :) in his forever home who love to play. He is dog door trained so a yard would be a huge plus. He loves riding in the car and has become a huge fan of hiking with his foster family. We truly believe the key to winning his guy over is consistent walks or hikes and LOTS of treats! October 21, 2024, 5:45 pm

Where are our bearcoat fans? Jek is finally ready for adoption. This girl is loving life in her foster home. She loves her crate but is also figuring out the world isn't that scary outside the crate. She is another one of our dogs that came from a breeder in Oklahoma after being seized by the Humane Society. Jek is great with other dogs and will need to go to a home with other playful dogs. She is good with both big and small dogs. She has been tolerant of the cats but may not be great with small animals as she does like to chase birds in the yard and has had some luck catching the not so smart dove. She is fostering with kids so no issues with her and children. You will just have to keep in mind that these pups can be a bit skittish but for whatever reason they love kids. Our theory is they are smaller and not as intimidating as adults especially men. You have have lots of patience and other dogs you need this girl in your life! October 21, 2024, 5:45 pm

Azula is coming to us from the El Paso Shelter and was found as a stray. Of course we wish she could talk to give us an inkling why such a sweet beautiful girl was out on her own. This girl is dripping in wrinkles but she is also very thin so we are working on adding some weight to her little body. She is great with kids and other dogs. She has met the resident cats and did give them a good chase in the backyard with her buddy Kuba in full pursuit so a cat free home might be the best. She has already started playing with Kuba so another dog in the home might be great for her. More than likely this girl will need entropion surgery but will confirm with our vet next week. She rides great in the car and is completely house trained. This girl has to be grabbing the heart of all you horse coat fans! She even has the cute butt roll wrinkle!October 21, 2024, 5:45 pm
