HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS aka HONEY B IS READY FOR HER DO-OVER! Let’s just say Honey B did NOT win the crappy-owner lottery. In fact, her previous owners took “dumping your problems” to a whole new level — they literally threw this sweet girl out of a vehicle onto a busy overpass. So yeah… we’re going to go ahead and give those people a solid 1-star review. Would not recommend. Thankfully, Honey B is ready to leave that nonsense in the rearview mirror and get on with the important stuff — being loved, spoiled and discovering that life can actually be pretty darn good! â¤ï¸ Here’s what we know about our girl: DOG FRIENDLY! Honey B would LOVE a confident doggie friend who can show her the ropes. She’s basically looking for a canine life coach — preferably one who is good at teaching important subjects like how to get treats, where the best nap spots are and how to convince your humans that you definitely need another snack. HOUSE TRAINED! Because apparently some things in life should be easy. ï¸ DOING GREAT WITH HER CRATE! She’s figuring it all out and doing a nice job. LEASHES ARE A LITTLE SCARY RIGHT NOW. But give this girl a couple of weeks, some patience and a good doggie role model, and we think she’s going to discover that pack walks are pretty awesome. Baby steps, Honey B. We’ve got you! Honey B will be spayed and have her Entropion surgery prior to adoption. This girl doesn’t need someone looking for a perfect dog on Day One. She needs someone willing to give her a little time to realize that cars are for RIDING IN, not ejecting passengers from. Give her patience. Give her a doggie friend. This girl will literally knock your socks off with her sweet personality and wrinkles that never end...we are still not sure its a good thing but what are we going to do at this point? She was found as a stray in west texas and with the help of some amazing partners made her way to Tucson AZ. She snorts like a little pig and will literally lick you to death. The shelter estimated her age at 7 but we are chuckling a bit at that estimate as her teeth are sparkling white. We are excited to get her seen by our vet and come up with a treatment plan. She will need entropion and guessing a brow lift to give her better vision. Her skin is in shockingly good shape but she good use to put on a few pounds. She is great with other dogs and falls into the category of an easy peasy foster. She is completely house trained. She is fostering in Tucson but will be moving to Phoenix in September.October 11, 2026, 6:31 pm

â HOSHI IS A ROCK STAR. PLEASE ACT ACCORDINGLY. â Hoshi means “star” in Japanese , and frankly, we’re not going to argue with the name. This boy is sweet, loving and completely convinced that every car ride is the beginning of an adventure. He is also fantastic with other dogs, which is good because Hoshi has clearly decided that life is better with a supporting cast. His tail never stops wagging. Never. We’re beginning to suspect he has either discovered perpetual motion or simply has absolutely no idea how to turn it off. He’s a little head shy, but he’s already improving. Give him a little time and he’ll figure out that getting loved on is actually a pretty great gig. Hoshi will be neutered and have his cherry eye repaired before adoption. So if you’ve been waiting for a handsome, happy, dog-friendly co-pilot who comes with his own built-in windshield wiper… Congratulations. You found him. Fostering in Phoenix, AZ â Hoshi.
