Bennington is a Sharpei mix weighing about 65 pounds. As many Sharpeis do, he had some issues with his eye lids and had surgery to correct that while in rescue. All went very well and he's fully healed and ready to see the world. Bennington is a wonderful dog! He's happy-go-lucky, loving and very loyal. He's house trained and has been a joy to be around in his foster home. He's very well behaved. He's athletic and strong and would love to go on hikes and walks with you. Camping also sounds like fun! We think he would be happiest as your one and only pet. Bennington is neutered, vet checked, current on vaccines, licensed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. Slate is a perfect description of this boys coloring. It's gray with blue undertones...well he is a bit spotty right now but with some great care being given by his foster mom we are confident he will look pretty amazing in a short period of time. This boy is a bit sight impaired at the moment due to severe cherry eye and entropion but you would never guess it. We are excited to see those gorgeous peepers next week post surgery. He is fantastic with other dogs both big and small. He is completely house trained and walks great on a leash. He is crate trained as well. Everyone who meets this boy raves about how sweet and friendly he is. Have we mentioned how much this boy loves his stuffies? His new home will need to provide him with an unlimited supply of squishy toys. He is never without one in his mouth and he loves to tuck himself into bed with his toys next to him. Cupid or Cupi or Cup-Cup is the most handsome boy! He is ready to rock your world with love! Are you looking for your forever Valentine? Meet Cupid! He is fantastic with other dogs. We haven’t witnessed him playing yet but confident that is right around the corner. He is the boy that quickly bonds with his people. He is loves both men and women equally. Not many dogs will climb up on the sofa and lay down next to you the same day they get out of the shelter where they have been for almost a month. His eyes are absolutely to die for! No Entropion surgery needed for this guy He will soon have a gorgeous brush coat. Right now he is on the thin side and his coat is a bit dull from poor nutrition. He loves to eat so guessing we will getting him looking fabulous pretty quick. He is super treat motivated so training will be a breeze with him. This guy was absolutely horrible in the bath tub...I mean really he can't be 100% perfect but we are confident with a few baths under his belt he will be so much better. He was never aggressive in the tub but both him and his foster mom were squeaky clean when it was all over. Cupid has impeccable house manners. He would never dream of lifting his leg in the house and peeing. He is working on his dog door skills. He isn't a huge fan of the crate and has been noted to sing a short song of protest just so his foster mom hurries home. Cupid has been fostering in an apartment setting and is doing well. He is very social with everyone he meets. He is now a pro maneuvering stairs! He has met a kitty and was fantastic. How cute is this little girl? She is a tiny little bundle of wrinkles. This girl is only 33 lbs. She has done well with her dog introductions but can be a bit of a spaz with new dog introductions. Best news is her foster dad is a dog trainer so we are confident he can work with her! She loves her crate and is super treat motivated so she is going to be a joy to do some training with. Ruffles has had entropion surgery, bloodwork, all her vaccines as well as spay! Ruffles loves her walks and will go as far as you have time and energy for. She loves people and will come up for pets and butt scratches! She is completely house trained which is not a surprise for a shar pei! Ruffles foster mom tell us she is sweet, gentle and a little goofball all rolled into one. She is one of those girls who has a whole lot of love saved up for her one person.
