This cute Shar-Pei girl is about 10 months old. A friend rescued her in Mexico and we’re helping her to place her in a good home. She’s very sweet and playful, she’s also good with other dogs. My friend, who’s her current foster, also has cats, and she’s been good with them too. Lucy is about 25lbs currently. Included with adoption: - Vaccines up to date - Flea/tick prevention given (Bravecto) - Spayed - Some of her current food If interested in adopting Lucy please fill out our adoption application form. Please note, we’re a Beagle rescue that mainly rescue hounds so our application is directed to the Beagle breed, if you’re applying to adopt Lucy please share the experience you have with the Shar-Pei breed or other breeds (not necessarily Beagles). Pick up is in San Diego, CA. Transportation is also available to the right home, depending on distance.

DOB: August 2018Weight: 27 lbsDisposition: Confident, Inquisitive, PlayfulEthel was rescued on 5th August 2020 during a slaughterhouse closure together with another 14 dogs conducted by FOUR PAWS in Kampong Thom, Cambodia. After rescue she was housed at Animal Rescue Cambodia in Phnom Penh until she flew stateside at the beginning of December 2020 when she joined us at The Barking Lot.Ethel has the cutest little ears there ever was and their a dead giveaway for her Shar Pei roots! This lovely girl used to be timid around other dogs, especially at dinner time. Like many of our rescues who have been through traumatic experiences, she gets defensive about her food. The rest of the time, Ethel can be coy, but she is learning to trust again and is really relaxed with her caretakers. Ethel has a lovely, inquisitive nature and is building trust with new people daily. She enjoys handling and cuddles from people she trusts and is treat motivated. 6yr old Bridget lingered at the Imperial County Shelter for 5 months and after a few short days in a loving foster home, she has proven to be all her Boxer breed has to offer. Playful, Respectful, completely housetrained, joyful and fun to be around. She loves the companionship of some other dogs, as well as enjoying toys, she knows the difference between a shoe that is not hers to chew and a toy that she clearly will chew. Bridget can go from calm, chill to "let's go for a walk" in an instant. She rides well in a car, she loves the outdoors and her walks, she is a zig zagger on walks so we are working to work on that, but all in all, this girl is well behaved, respects boundaries and is a diamond in the ruff of the rough. Keep an eye out on this lovely girl, she is ready to join your family and bring you endless joy for many years to come.
