Don't you just want to smoosh that face!!!  Lila is a petite 35-40lb Shar Pei mix who has shown nothing but gentle sweetness since coming into the rescue.  Lila would prefer a home without another dog, but she is so worth  the love and affection you will get from her.  Happy to be rescued, Lila will need to complete any vetting so she is not available right now, but if interested get your application in because this gorgeous girl will not last long once available. Coco Foster/Home Needed –Long Island, NY Meet Coco. This gorgeous girl is a Shar Pei mix, about 8yrs old and weighs roughly 50lbs. Coco likes people and everyone she meets falls in love with her. The staff at her current shelter adore her and say she is easy to manage. She is fine with other dogs in most situations, but she gets a little nervous if they invade her personal space. She is attracted to puppies and calm dogs, but is not a fan of felines. She is interested in kids but children over 13yrs would be best. Unlike many dogs, storms and fireworks do not bother Coco. She’s not necessarily a lap dog but she loves to be with her people. She likes car rides and naps, she loves to be brushed and she’s good in the bath. Coco loves water and is a good swimmer. She grows weary of the shelter life but absolutely shines outside of there. She’s very agile and smart. Coco is house trained, crate trained and good on a leash. She is spayed and UTD on all. Story
Hi! My dog Alfie is 9 years old, he is a sweet boy who loves his humans. My schedule has become too busy and unfortunately Alfie is alone a lot which he does not like. He needs a family who has more time to spend with him, maybe someone who works from home or retired. He is great with other dogs, has spent time at doggy day cares his whole life, he is good with kids also. He’s a real personality, energetic, sweet and stubborn. I love him so much and want only the best for him. He does have anxiety when left alone and is prescribed anti anxiety medication by the vet which does help a lot. However I have to be out of the house 5 days a week for work and it’s just too much. As mentioned someone who spends more time at home would be ideal. I am happy to talk on the phone or answer any other questions someone has, I just want to find the best time for alfie to be happy and to thrive.
