At just 1 year old and 34 pounds, this handsome Pointer mix is the perfect blend of athletic energy and affectionate charm. Prince is truly the full package — smart, sweet, and happiest when he’s right by your side. He’s both potty trained and crate trained, and while the crate isn’t his favorite place (he’ll let you know with some barking), he does best in a home setting rather than an apartment. Prince loves to show off his brains and is already mastering commands like sit and stay. He’s incredibly treat-motivated and eager to please, which makes continued training both fun and rewarding. Whether it’s a game of fetch (yes, he brings it back every time!), a good tug session, or chewing on his favorite Nylabone, Prince is always ready for playtime. He also enjoys romping around with other dogs and would likely thrive with a playful canine companion. This sweet boy is deeply devoted to his people and forms strong bonds — he’ll happily follow you from room to room just to be close. He can be a little clingy in the best way, always wanting to know where his humans are. He’s also a great listener, well-behaved in the home, and doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t. Prince rides nicely in the car, doesn’t door dash, and enjoys watching the world go by from the window. Prince can be a bit timid when meeting new people and may bark briefly at first, but he warms up quickly with a little patience. He’s done well with children and enjoys being around them. He hasn’t met cats yet, so slow introductions would be important there. He may need a little extra time and positive reinforcement when meeting unfamiliar men, as he’s shown some hesitation in the past, but with structure and reassurance, he continues to build confidence. Because he’s still learning about the world, Prince can be vocal when people pass by the home and will “keep watch” from the windows. He does settle with guidance, but he’ll need a family committed to helping him continue building confidence and working through his alert barking. Prince is young, eager, and incredibly loving — just waiting for the right family to help him shine. With consistency, patience, and lots of love, he will grow into an even more confident and amazing companion. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and devoted best friend who will always be by your side, Prince is your guy. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. She’s eating normally, settling nicely into a routine, and enjoying daily walks—she recently conquered a 25-minute stroll and is still polishing up her leash manners. While she loves a good burst of zoomies and playful moments every couple of hours, much of the time she surprises everyone by behaving more like a laid-back senior than a nonstop puppy.Daisy has been accident-free in the home, almost never barks, and has excellent house manners. She doesn’t counter-surf, doesn’t beg, and is respectful with her belongings—chewing only on her toys and leaving everything else alone. When visitors stop by, she may get a little excited at first, but she settles quickly and is happy to soak up attention once the initial excitement passes. At night, Daisy is a champion snuggler, sleeping peacefully right by her foster’s head and even sleeping in after they’re up for the day. It’s hard to believe she’s the same dog who was once bouncing off the walls of her kennel—this girl truly shines in a home environment.
