Tank is a nearly 7-month-old pup (born May 29, 2025) who already weighs 53 lbs—and he’s just getting started. We believe he’s a Shar Pei / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and he’s expected to grow into a big, handsome guy around 80–90 lbs. For his size, Tank is actually pretty calm, but don’t be fooled—he’s still very much a puppy. Tank was surrendered by his owners by no fault of his own. He’s super sweet, affectionate, and social, but he’s also strong and a little mouthy, which means he’ll need a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and consistency. With his future size, good manners will be essential. Tank does well with other dogs, can be cat tested, and would be best with older children, as he may be a bit too much for the littlest family members. Jill came to ACCT Philly after she and another dog, Jack, were found running loose in the street. Thankfully, a caring community member was able to get both dogs to safety, and both dogs soon made their way into the care of ACCT Philly. Jill is now available for adoption at Doggie Style Pets in Bala Cynwyd and ready to meet her forever family! Jill is a social butterfly with a heart of gold. She's got the face and wrinkles of a shar pei and is on the smaller end at around 30lbs. She's highly people-oriented and shows her love freely with tail wags, gentle nudges, and an easygoing attitude. Jill walks well on leash, is tolerant of all body handling, and greets the world with soft eyes and a calm presence. In her interactions with other dogs, she’s shown polite curiosity—sniffing and then choosing to move on if she’s unsure. She’s a well-rounded, friendly pup who's easy to handle and eager to connect. I loved having the foster puppies around they were fun to play with. I now like to play with the big dogs I am learning to be a dog. I get to get up on the couch and the bed with my foster mom. I like the bed she keeps telling me it’s okay I have never been on the bed before… I don’t like crates but I like my pen I get to stay when my foster mom is gone. I have learned the doggie door and it’s so much fun going in and out of it. I am learning being outside can be fun especially when all the other dogs go outside. I am working on sits and stays but I am still a little nervous with the trainer. Give me time and I will give you love… I would loved to be called your girl…. I just need some patience and some love and we will best friends forever!!!!
