Tank is a nearly 7-month-old pup (born May 29, 2025) who already weighs 53 lbs—and he’s just getting started. We believe he’s a Shar Pei / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and he’s expected to grow into a big, handsome guy around 80–90 lbs. For his size, Tank is actually pretty calm, but don’t be fooled—he’s still very much a puppy. Tank was surrendered by his owners by no fault of his own. He’s super sweet, affectionate, and social, but he’s also strong and a little mouthy, which means he’ll need a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and consistency. With his future size, good manners will be essential. Tank does well with other dogs, can be cat tested, and would be best with older children, as he may be a bit too much for the littlest family members. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.This is Odin. He has a sad history involving being drug behind a vehicle for refusing to fight in the pit that his owner threw him into. But we aren't here to talk about his past. That's behind him now. We want to focus on the present and his future. He is so very cuddly. His motto is that personal space is over rated and there's no such thing as too close. He is fantstic with kids and absolutely loved all the attention and face kisses he received from his tiny visitors recently, ages 3 and 5 years old. He would love nothing more than to be someone’s little spoon for the rest of his days! I included the last picture of just a few of his scars to show he has not had an easy life. Cruelly tortured by humans, YET is so desperate for love and snuggles. His true nature of a lover, not a fighter has won out, and he is a survivor! He does fine with other non aggressive dogs, he's mostly uninterested in them and really just wants all the humans' attention. With proper introduction, we believe he would be happy in a home with another that would allow him to be the attention hog. We believe Odin is about 2 years old and he weighs about 65 lbs. He is fully vetted. Odin is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. Welcome boxer and senior dog lovers! This handsome, salt-and-pepper fellow is Pierre, a 9-year old boxer patiently waiting for someone to love and share his golden years with in his forever home. Pierre is a people-oriented guy and adores his humans. While he is living in a multi-dog foster home and has made several canine friends there, he would very much enjoy being the center of attention as an only dog in his forever home. When he came to the rescue, Pierre was a bit frail and underweight. As his weight, muscle tone, and overall health improved, so did his strength. He is in excellent condition and health for a dog in his season of life. Pierre walks well on leash and also enjoys moderate hikes. He adores a good car ride, snuggles on the couch, or just chilling on the floor while the humans do their thing. Pierre is crate-trained and rests nicely in crate when his foster family is at work. Pierre would benefit from a schedule where he can have pottery breaks during the day. He would be excellent for someone who has a flexible schedule. Pierre is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, is on tick/heartworm preventatives. He had senior bloodwork done before receiving a dental to freshen up that cute mouth of his. Pierre is being fostered in north-eastern Lancaster county/edge of Berks and potential adopters should be willing to travel to meet him.
