Story
Hi there! My name’s Sweetie, and I promise I live up to my name! I’m a 40-pound bundle of love, wiggles, and squeaky-toy enthusiasm, looking for my forever family. I’m the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—give me a tennis ball or a stuffie and I’ll show off my best fetch moves, then curl up on the couch or in my cozy crate for a nap. I’m house trained, crate trained, and sleep quietly through the night like a good girl. I even know how to sit! My favorite part of the day is just being near my people (and maybe sneaking in a few kisses while I’m at it).I get along great with other dogs and would love a buddy to romp around with—or I’ll happily soak up all your attention if I’m your one and only. I’m still learning my leash manners, but I’m eager to please and love learning new things. When you come to meet me, be prepared for a big smile and my signature wiggly butt dance! I’ve got a heart full of love just waiting for the right family to share it with—could that be you?Sweetie is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Sweetie will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
*Felicity’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Oh, hi there! I'm so happy you found me. My name is Felicity. I am a playful, spunky and snuggly girl looking for my furever family. I've been so loved in foster homes since I was a puppy, but I know my family is out there!!I currently live in a condo with my foster mom and cat friends, but I have also lived in a house with a foster dad, mom, teenagers and other dogs with a fenced in yard. I have done well with the little kids I have met that are respectful of me. I take a little time to warm up, but not too long! Once I get to know you, I'm your best buddy. I am house trained and do well on leash or freely in the backyard. I am crate trained. I can sleep in my crate at night and when I'm home alone. I go in happily with a treat and love my cozy bed. I also love to sleep in bed with my foster mom though! I'm a great napper, super snuggly and love to give kisses! I'm just the right size too; not too big and not too small!I do bark at new things or in new situations, but I am a good listener and am corrected easily. I would do best with a patient and confident person who is experienced with dogs and is consistent with me! I am such a loving and special pup. My foster families have absolutely loved me and believe that the perfect family is out there looking for me. Is it you? X0XOXO,Felicity Felicity is a little fighter who has been diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Canine dermatomyositis (DMS) which is an inherited disease that causes inflammation of the skin, muscles, and blood vessels in dogs. She deserves to find her family just like every other dog up for adoption in rescue. If you feel you can provide her with all that she needs, a lifetime of love and care, snuggles and commitment, please make sure to fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
*Trace’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Hi , my name is Trace! I’m a sweet Alabama girl that has overcome unimaginable challenges, including abuse and living on the streets for over a year. Despite my tough past, I have emerged as a loyal and affectionate companion.I am the mother to the Beauty litter and Art litter. The rescue told me that I am one of the best mothers they’ve ever had! Now that I’ve raised all my babies I’m ready to focus on being a beloved pet. With patience and love, I will blossom into a devoted friend. Once you gain my trust, be prepared for snuggles, cuddles, and a constant companion. My foster mom says I’m really smart too . I’m a quick learner and very treat motivated. I really enjoy puzzle toys and kongs. I am completely house-trained, and I know some basic commands like "sit.” I prefer a peaceful environment, free from loud noises and young children. Ideally, I’d thrive in an adult-only home where I can be the center of attention. If you're an active homebody who enjoys quiet evenings with a good book, TV show, or knitting project, I am the perfect companion for you! I’ll happily snuggle beside you, providing comfort and companionship. All I ask for is love, patience, and understanding , and I’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and affection. Could that be you? 💖🐶💖--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned.
