Story
Hi there! My name’s Sweetie, and I promise I live up to my name! I’m a 40-pound bundle of love, wiggles, and squeaky-toy enthusiasm, looking for my forever family. I’m the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—give me a tennis ball or a stuffie and I’ll show off my best fetch moves, then curl up on the couch or in my cozy crate for a nap. I’m house trained, crate trained, and sleep quietly through the night like a good girl. I even know how to sit! My favorite part of the day is just being near my people (and maybe sneaking in a few kisses while I’m at it).I get along great with other dogs and would love a buddy to romp around with—or I’ll happily soak up all your attention if I’m your one and only. I’m still learning my leash manners, but I’m eager to please and love learning new things. When you come to meet me, be prepared for a big smile and my signature wiggly butt dance! I’ve got a heart full of love just waiting for the right family to share it with—could that be you?Sweetie is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Sweetie will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

*Felicity’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Oh, hi there! I'm so happy you found me. My name is Felicity. I am a playful, spunky and snuggly girl looking for my furever family. I've been so loved in foster homes since I was a puppy, but I know my family is out there!!I currently live in a condo with my foster mom and cat friends, but I have also lived in a house with a foster dad, mom, teenagers and other dogs with a fenced in yard. I have done well with the little kids I have met that are respectful of me. I take a little time to warm up, but not too long! Once I get to know you, I'm your best buddy. I am house trained and do well on leash or freely in the backyard. I am crate trained. I can sleep in my crate at night and when I'm home alone. I go in happily with a treat and love my cozy bed. I also love to sleep in bed with my foster mom though! I'm a great napper, super snuggly and love to give kisses! I'm just the right size too; not too big and not too small!I do bark at new things or in new situations, but I am a good listener and am corrected easily. I would do best with a patient and confident person who is experienced with dogs and is consistent with me! I am such a loving and special pup. My foster families have absolutely loved me and believe that the perfect family is out there looking for me. Is it you? X0XOXO,Felicity Felicity is a little fighter who has been diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Canine dermatomyositis (DMS) which is an inherited disease that causes inflammation of the skin, muscles, and blood vessels in dogs. She deserves to find her family just like every other dog up for adoption in rescue. If you feel you can provide her with all that she needs, a lifetime of love and care, snuggles and commitment, please make sure to fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hello everyone, my name is Winny, and I cannot wait to tell you a bit about myself and some of my favorite things! CUDDLES!!! Oh, and to curl up with you and stay warm in bed. Hanging out is kinda my thing: I got that sweet, loving pitbull personality. I love belly scratches and loving. I like to play with other dogs, and do it gently despite my size, because I play fair. I'm in a foster home with a puppy, and I love to play with her, but after a while she's just too much, so I go find a human to love on.I met cats for the first time when I came to stay here. I sure am curious about them, but they speak a weird language and I don't understand some of their manners. My fosters mostly keep us apart, and when the cat comes into the room to go to the litter box they always call him a dummy. I really like those little human puppies(kids) ya'll got, and I can't wait to spend some more time with some.Well, anyway, it's just about kennel time. I think I'll go in early tonight again. I'm hoping to have dreams of my new humans. I hope you come say hi at the adoption event. xoxo--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hello, I am Phoebe! I am a very sweet puppy and will love on you. I am really cuddly and will try to snuggle in your lap even though I am bigger than I think I am. I really enjoy playing fetch with a ball or toy bone. If the toy squeaks, it is a big bonus! I enjoy sitting by the back door and watching the squirrels or other critters run around, and I will even try to catch the leaves as they fall when out for a walk. I am not a big fan of walking, but I do enjoy being outside. I am calm during the day with spurts of energy in the evening when everyone is home. Because I find cat friends very interesting, it would be best if I had a home without them, but I am great with other dogs and love playing with kids and adults.I cant wait to meet you and show you just how sweet I am! ***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** Phoebe is in our Foster to Adopt Program because she is not yet spayed. Her spay will be coming up soon. If you are interested in adopting Phoebe, please fill out an Adoption Application. Story
Judge is the sweetest boy. He loves to cuddle and nap on your lap especially when it’s time to go to work! Our heart is shattered having to make this decision. He has decided that he doesn’t want to be nice to our other animals anymore, and he would rather be in a home where he does not have to share his people. Judge was adopted by us from the Humane Society when he was just over 6 months old on October 6, 2023. He is a super shy boy. Afraid of his own shadow. He is terrified of people he doesn’t know, but has never shown any signs of aggression toward people. Not even a growl. He will bark at strangers, but only while hiding behind me because he is such a brave boy. Once he relaxes and gets to know you he falls in love. You just have to give him time. He will sleep in your bed, or in his kennel which will come with him. Not an ordinary kennel, no, our boy when he was younger couldn’t be kept in a kennel so we had to get the Fort Knox steel kennel.
