Story
Scout and Hunter are brothers who were adopted at about 4 months old from a shelter. They are now 8 years old. They are extremely kind and fun dogs. But they are also very energetic. They love nuzzling in for pets and playing "catch me if you can". They need plenty of exercise. They love walking or running, but are not very interested in fetch. They are e-collar trained to heel, sit, down, stay, and at ease. They both also have what the vet says is DLE, causing pigmentation loss in their noses, and with Scout scabbing on his nose and ears. Antibiotics and steroids were effective, but a long term solution has not been found. Unfortunately we have moved to a home with almost no yard, and now have multiple young children, and they are not getting the attention and exercise they deserve. They are very kind with our children. We love them and want them to go somewhere they can live out the second half of their life how they should. A big yard and plenty of exercise is a must. Crate trained.

Story
Finn is the best dog ever. He came from a farm in Jarupa Valley, CA. He was 6 months old when we got him and is now 5 1/2. His bday is New Yeas Eve. He needs a family that has the space for a big dog. He is about 126 lbs. Yes, that big! But his heart and love for life are bigger! He loves to play and go for walks. He will keep close by your side ;) He's good at recall, sometimes in his time, but he'll never let you out of his sight. He loves the beach (his favorite), the park, anywhere he can run and play around with other dogs. He loves a good time. He has never been aggressive and is super social. Hes house trained and can hold for a long time. LOL We've loved our time with him and will miss him terribly. Finding a new family for Finn is breaking our hearts, but we truly believe there is a home out there in the world who can give him a better life than us; a home with a family and a heart as big as his who will love him like crazy and adore him as much as we have. XOXO

Story
Mystery was surrendered from an abusive household to a local humane society which we adopted her from. She is a very shy, loving, and caring dog she needs a house with space or more active people who can take her for walks. She is great with children and infants, other dogs, etc. She is a great companion but needs more than we can offer at the moment. She is 1 year and 4 months and spayed, basic training but needs someone who is willing to work with her. Very calm dog who does not bark or make much sound she likes to relax and enjoy time outside when it comes to potty time, other than that she is willing to go along with your day.

Story
Sweet Elle was rescued just hours before she was to be killed for space at Downey Shelter.  Elle is a sweet girl with lots of energy and an eagerness to please and learn from her owner/handler.  Elle was emaciated when we rescued her and is currently at 54 pounds, but I still think she should gain a few more.  Elle is house trained and crate trained and knows sit well.  Elle is also good walking on a leash, but needs a little more work on pulling.  Elle gets along great with other dogs, but does need a day or two to acclimate to a new one.  She is good with little dogs, but tends to play rough, so a bigger young dog to play with and keep her company would be wonderful for her.  Elle is now spayed, up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies), and microchipped.  Elle does have a very small umbilical hernia that we will have fixed when and if she ever has to undergo anesthesia again (maybe for a dental in future, etc).  We just do not want to put her under again for something unnecessary.  Elle's adoption donation is $450.  If you have any further questions, please call Krissy at (949) 456-7032 or to fill out an application, visit www.greendogfoundation.org.  Thank you for looking to rescue!October 20, 2025, 6:34 pm
