Story
Scout and Hunter are brothers who were adopted at about 4 months old from a shelter. They are now 8 years old. They are extremely kind and fun dogs. But they are also very energetic. They love nuzzling in for pets and playing "catch me if you can". They need plenty of exercise. They love walking or running, but are not very interested in fetch. They are e-collar trained to heel, sit, down, stay, and at ease. They both also have what the vet says is DLE, causing pigmentation loss in their noses, and with Scout scabbing on his nose and ears. Antibiotics and steroids were effective, but a long term solution has not been found. Unfortunately we have moved to a home with almost no yard, and now have multiple young children, and they are not getting the attention and exercise they deserve. They are very kind with our children. We love them and want them to go somewhere they can live out the second half of their life how they should. A big yard and plenty of exercise is a must. Crate trained.

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Xena is a very loyal and loving Husky and Alaskan Malamute mix (mostly black with white collar, belly and paws and some brown tones). She is playful, spayed, and enjoys being close to her "hooman." She loves everything to do with water; swimming, drinking from a hose, and playing in it. Doggie sprinkle pool conveys. Car rides are her second favorite thing after water. She is shy and nervous around new people and will bark/talk at them until she gets comfortable, but she will mind and stop barking once she knows the stranger is welcomed. As you can see in the picture, she has lost one eye (surgically removed) due to glaucoma and I give her eye drops in the other to control pressure. She stays outdoors right now (because my husband is severely allergic) but is fully trained for indoors (including using a doggy door) and likes to be inside with the humans. She is voice trained and behaves well on walks and at the doggy park. Current supplies and medical records provided.

Story
Meet Baz, our 91 lb 3 y/o German Shepherd mix. Baz is an amazing dog. He is affectionate and intelligent. He likes to train but doesn’t need a ton to tire him out. He’s a sensitive dog who responds well to structure, clear boundaries and praise. He does have some behavioral struggles. We spent thousands of dollars on a 2 month board and train last year, and have continued with private sessions with a new trainer in the last few months. His dog reactivity and overall obedience has improved drastically. But he did attack our other dog recently and has started growling at my wife, who is pregnant. For everyone’s safety and well being, we have to rehome Baz before the baby comes. It is not a good situation for us, or for him. We’ve spent a year investing time and resources into his training, hoping it would be enough, but he needs more. Baz is in tact and up to date on all vaccinations. He is fully e-collar and crate trained. He loves to play tug and knows a bunch of command
