Story
Meet Xena (aka Mama Z). This sweet husky is loyal, friendly, well trained, and looking for the forever home she deserves. Xena is the easiest husky you will find. Huskies are an amazing breed but they require LOTS of exercise and always pose the risk of bolting. Not Xena. A leash walk around the neighborhood and a human to lie on the couch with and she is in heaven! She is well trained and good on and off leash (although we don't recommend off-leash walks until she gets comfortable with you). This sweet girls owner can no longer keep her so she has until the end of the month to find a new home or foster. Please help us make sure Xena never goes back to the shelter. The lucky family, or individual, that decides to give Xena a chance with get an amazing pet.

Story
Meet Bobby! Bobby is about 14 mos old (a/o 3.28.24 - DOB 1.24.23) and weighs about 55lbs. He is fully vaccinated, has been neutered and microchipped. Bobby is crate trained, potty trained and knows some basic obedience cues. Bobby is a pitbull/husky mix. He has been in a foster home with multiple dogs and children and seems to enjoy their company. Bobby can be a bit timid when meeting new people and takes a little longer than his brother Ricky to warm up but he’s the sweetest boy, and once you're in his "Circle of Friends" you're a friend for life! Bobby would thrive with an active lifestyle. He will do best with a family that will consider him a true member of the family and let him participate in the family activities. Last summer, when the wading pools were put out and filled, guess what happened? We've discovered that Bobby loves the water! Sooooo, if you're looking for a water-loving mutt, look no further. Our Bobby fits the bill! Bobby is not a SacRDR rescue dog. He is being fostered by one of our volunteers, who is a vet tech in the process of starting her own rescue. We fully back her and her dogs. We have collaborated on rehoming several dogs with her and the dogs are stable grounded animals. Think you can provide Bobby the life he deserves? Interested in meeting Bobby? Let us know! Send an email to Brittrad03@aol.com and someone will get back with you as quickly as possible.

Ricky can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and will give you the best snuggles. Ricky adores other dogs and would do best in a home with another canine companion to pal around with! We also think he'd do okay with a feline friend with slow intros and supervision. Ricky is crate trained and knows how to relax while crated. He is also potty trained in his foster home, but will need some gentle guidance on the proper place to do his "business" in his new home. Ricky is not a SacRDR rescue dog. He is being fostered by one of our volunteers, who is a vet tech in the process of starting her own rescue. We fully back her and her dogs. Story
Meet Jade, a playful and rambunctious young husky who is looking for her forever home! Jade loves to play and explore. Her favorite activity is going on long walks where she can get her boundless energy out. If you are looking for an active companion to join you on your outdoor adventures, Jade is your gal! She is young and still learning manners such as sharing food and treats politely and walking calmly on her leash. Due to this, we recommend that any children in her new home are age 10 or older. She may do well with other dogs after a slow introduction. She has lots of energy and likes to greet dogs by jumping up, so we recommend that any other dog in her new home is playful to match her energy level.Adoption Price: $175

Story
Meet Solomon, a young, sweet soul who's gentle and shy. Despite his shyness, he's a bundle of joy, always ready to show his affectionate side to those who take the time to know him. Solomon's youth means he's full of energy, always eager to explore. His gentle nature makes him a perfect companion for peaceful, quiet moments. Solomon's shyness might make him a bit reserved at first, but once he opens up, he's the most loyal friend you could ask for. Solomon should be adopted because he's not just a pet, he's a companion, a friend, and a source of unconditional love. His sweet and gentle nature would make any house feel like a home. Because Solomon can be a bit shy in new spaces, we recommend that any children in his new home are age 5 or older so they can understand his needs. He may do well with other dogs in his new home after a slow introduction.Adoption Price: $175
