Their beloved owner is in failing health and can no longer care for them. Through no fault of their own, these two wonderful dogs are now searching for a safe place to land. Ghost• Approximately 2 years old• Male Husky mix• Neutered• Up to date on vaccines• Handsome boy with one blue eye and one brown eye, and a heart that's just as unique. Sophie• Shepherd/collieApproximately 2 years old• Spayed female• Up to date on vaccines• Sweet, affectionate, and always happy to be by your side. These two have been lifelong companions, and keeping them together would be a dream. However, their greatest need is simply loving, committed homes where they can be safe and cherished. They've already lost the only home they've ever known. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise. MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
