Story
I have 2 dogs that I would like to keep together because the yellow lab/golden retriever mix is very attached to his sister Khloe. His name is Lenny they both grew up with kids from infants to a teenager. Since my wife and kids moved out of state I no longer have the time to give them the attention they deserve because of my work schedule so they spend way too much time in the kennel.

These pups are in Gig Harbor, Washington too!

Just astheir time was running out, a compassionate veterinarian stepped in, reaching out to NorthWestWag Rescue (NWW) for help. The boarding team in Chapala where he currently is, acted immediately and rushed him to the vet, but the initial evaluation showed that more specialized tests were urgently needed. He was quickly transferred to Guadalajara to be seen by our trusted veterinarian. After an ultrasound, Baker received a serious diagnosis: an intestinal intussusception, a life-threatening condition that required emergency surgery. At just 10 months old, Baker faced a complex operation. Thanks to the support of NWW, the surgery was able to take place in time—and it was successfully performed. Following surgery, Baker required months of special care, close medical monitoring, and a specialized diet. Throughout his recovery, he showed incredible resilience and strength. Today, Baker has fully recovered, is healthy and thriving, and continues to wait patiently for the loving forever home he truly deserves. Baker’s story is one of hope, teamwork, and second chances—and now, all he needs is a family to make his happy ending complete. Story
I’m reaching out to see if who urgently needs a stable, experienced placement. He is a very mellow, gentle, people-oriented dog. He settles beautifully when someone is home and has a soft, sensitive temperament. His main challenge is anxiety when left alone, especially when kenneled or confined. He has had four previous owners, and the instability seems to have contributed to his separation anxiety. Outside of that, he is calm, affectionate, and easy to handle. Key Details:  Age: 8 years  Temperament: Very mellow, sweet, and gentle  Behavior: Becomes anxious when left alone or kenneled; otherwise well-mannered  History: Four previous homes, none due to aggression  Needs: A foster or adopter who is home often, minimal crating, predictable environment  Location: Tacoma / Gig Harbor area He is a wonderful dog who simply needs the kind of stability and reassurance that a foster-based rescue can provide. I believe he would thrive with the right structure and support.
