Story
HISTORY: Yukon was rescued as a stray in eastern Washington in February 2022. He was dirty, skinny and had several lacerations. He was obvious that he had been living on the streets and fending for himself for a while. Vets believe that he was born in Early 2018. UPDATE: Yukon is a now a big beautiful boy with a luxurious coat and ready for his forever home! Yukon is looking for an active family who will include him in all their activities. He would like a home with a yard and a 6' high fence that he can't jump over. Bonus if he finds a home with Husky/northern breed experience, and someone who loves to run like he does! He would also be good a playmate. Yukon would do best with older gentle kids as he would be too much for toddlers. He needs a home WITHOUT cats, chickens or small critters ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to $300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. Story
HISTORY: Winchester was an owner surrender in Eastern Washington when he came into rescue May 24, 2023. He is a wonderful and friendly dog except he doesn't like to be in a cage. He is needing a FOSTER FAST! UPDATE: Winchester was very high energy when first coming out of his kennel and leaving Petsmart, but as soon as we were outside and had walked for a few minutes, he became STELLAR on a leash; I was shocked at how good he was! He liked to sniff around but ultimately seemed unbothered by car noise and other outside sounds, although he is interested in trying to meet other people and dogs (we did not do either on our walk so I can’t speak to how he would be if he was allowed to say hi). He seems pretty confident and is very sweet, definitely more of a chill demeaner once he gets some exercise out. He jumped up a few times when I first got him from the kennel but I think with training that would be something easy to work on. PLEASE SEE THE LINKS BELOW IS YOU COULD BECOME A FOSTER OR ADOPTER! Story
HISTORY: Rook is a very young German Shepherd puppy that was found running free on the streets Eastern Washington. UPDATE: Rook is high energy and definitely still acts like a young dog. He is super affectionate and would sometimes stop our walk just to come and get a cuddle from me. He’s working on his leash training. He is super curious. He’s a little startled with loud noises. When he gets nervous he presses up against me and acts really unsure if what he should do next, so I think he’ll need a good leader and someone who has a little more experience with shepherds. He is really friendly and sweet and I think would be a great dog for someone who’s active and also wants a big cuddlebug! ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to 300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue.
