Story
I have 2 dogs that I would like to keep together because the yellow lab/golden retriever mix is very attached to his sister Khloe. His name is Lenny they both grew up with kids from infants to a teenager. Since my wife and kids moved out of state I no longer have the time to give them the attention they deserve because of my work schedule so they spend way too much time in the kennel.

These pups are in Kent, Washington too!

Hi! My name is Shasta and I am available for adoption!I weigh 72.0 lbs am considered a `large breed` dog. I must admit I am quite chonky! I would benefit from losing 5-10 lbs so I can live a long happy life! I enjoy the outdoors and going on walks so I can be down to a healthy weight in no time!I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!I`m currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the `read about our adoption process` link then `foster path` link!

Story
Hi! My name is Blaze and I am available for adoption!I was brought in as a stray, but my owners surrendered me on 07/17/26 when they learned of my whereabouts.I am an older guy who is go-with-the-flow. I am potty trained, but at my older age I need a strict potty schedule to help me avoid any accidents. I am very fluffy and affectionate, but I am good at doing my own thing if I have a routine.I am a medium to large breed dog and I weigh 66lbs. I am a bit overweight, so please keep that in mind when making my food! You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!A note from the vet:Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) This pet came into us overweight. His body condition is 9/9 (1/9= emaciated, 9/9 = obese, 5/9 = ideal). We recommend following up with your primary veterinarian to discuss a healthy weight loss plan. Your veterinarian may recommend senior blood work and urinalysis. 2) This pet is senior at 11 years old. Many pets at this age have arthritis or joint related illness. He has recieved a basic exam here at the shelter and would benefit from a review with your veterinarian to keep him as healthy and comfortable as possible. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.

Story
I got this goofy boy from Tacoma Humane 02/2023, he’ll be 4 years old December 27th of this year. I am looking for a home for him that has lots of love, attention, and a good budget for him! He is such a good dog and loves adventuring out in nature, chilling in the sun or laying out on his bed. He loves a good game of chase, tug of war, and can fetch short distances. He also loves chewing on bones and antlers, as well as a peanut butter/yogurt filled Kong/lick mat. He needs a new home due to my financial situation getting extremely dire and I cannot afford to care for him any longer. He has my heart and I just want what’s best for him, I need to work more hours at work and he does have separation anxiety so he deserves more attention and care! The fee is to ensure that he has a good home with people who are loving, caring, and financially stable!
