Which is remarkable given her background.For years, Zyra’s world was a patch of dirt in a backyard. No toys. No walks. No comfort. Just forced puppy breeding, loneliness, and a life of being used.But here’s the thing about Zyra -- they never broke her spirit. She still believes in people. She still lights up when you walk into the room. She still wants to play and curl up next to you, pressing in tight. Now six years old, Zyra is all heart. A German Shepherd through and through—smart, loyal, and devoted. What she is not is a dog-park social butterfly or a busy-sidewalk type of girl.
