Rusty is lovable, well-behaved, and oh so handsome! He is house trained and will even ring a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He is crate-trained and has no problem going in his crate for bedtime, when he is left alone, or when he wants to take a nap in peace! He gets along great with other dogs and would do well with older children. Rusty is a sweet guy who is really excited to find his forever family. He's been with us for a long time, simply because there are too many dogs out there looking for homes this year. But he knows his time is coming soon. Rusty is a joy and loves snuggling on the couch, watching TV, belly rubs, long walks, and being outside. Rusty is a well-behaved dog and very eager to learn. He responds well and quick to training and verbal directions. He walks great on a leash, is bell trained, and has mastered sit, down, off, and wait commands. Rusty is great in a variety of social situations. He goes out in public weekly, including eating out, visiting other homes, and walks in public places.He can be shy and may need a warm-up period with people depending on the situation. Rusty loves other dogs. He has frequent dog visitors and they play together well. Rusty loves to run and play outside; a fenced yard would be best for him. He loves to hike; he hikes and walks well with multiple dogs. Rusty would love an owner willing to spend time getting to know him and get him comfortable in a new home environment, and perhaps has a mentor dog to befriend and play with. Rusty is available for adoption; Foster to adopt is also an option where you can date him and see if he is a good fit for your family. Meet EVA GREENE ** NEEDS ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME ** ++ No apartments. Must have a fenced yard. ++ NAME: Eva Greene AGE/GENDER: 3 year old female BREED: Husky mix TEMPERAMENT: Shy, gentle, loving WEIGHT: 50ish pounds HOUSE TRAINING: Good. CRATE TRAINING: Good. OTHER DOGS: Eva loves other dogs and does require another dog in the home. CATS: No due to her breed. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 12 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $550 HEALTH: Eva is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. HISTORY: Prior to coming to us, Eva spent the first few years of her life chained up, so she's learning how to trust people and live inside- and she's doing great. She has come out of her shells so much. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Eva is a gentle, sweet, adult husky mix who is looking for a quiet home with another dog. She really understands dogs more than people, so she takes cues and comfort from them and it helps her learn, trust and grow. Eva has come such a long way since she arrived, especially as she's discovered how nice and comfortable a home can be and she no longer wants to be outside in inclement weather or left alone for long. She does however enjoy the yard very much and as she's used to hanging out and enjoying the scenery, she will need a fenced yard for her continued happiness. She is playful and she prefers other friendly dogs and people to be calm. An intense, high-energy household would be difficult for her, but she'd love one where Netflix and chill or walks and hikes are a part of the routine. She is a gorgeous dog who sheds like a maniac as huskies tend to so be aware of the need for brushing! In all, Eva is a gem and we can't wait till someone sees her the way we do!
