** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea ** • Rescue Story : Meet Dong-yeop👋 Dong-yeop was wandering in the mountain and the neighborhood. He followed other dogs walking around. Some residents filed many complaints to fire stations, police stations and animal rescue organizations, but they all failed to rescue him, raising vigilance. In the meantime, He often appeared in front of the house of a resident and ate meat she was feeding him. Some residents who were interested in Dong-yeop's rescue in the neighborhood decided to work together to rescue the dog, set up a fence in front of the house, and succeeded in rescuing Dong-yeop who came in to eat. Since then, Dong-yeop has been living in a temporary foster home for months, where he had good care and love and learned lots of tricks. He has turned into an amazing dog who loves walking and playing with toys! He is now more than ready to find his own forever home! • Personality: Shy, Smart, Curious • Affinity with -Cats: He tends to chase street cats but is not very interested in indoor family cats. -Dogs: Great with other dogs. He also relies on the resident dog in his foster home. -Adults/Kids: Shy around new faces / not much interest in kids • Shedding: 5-6 (1-10 scale) • Food Allergies/Picky Eater: No food allergies. While he loves meat very much, he doesn't eat vegetables or fruits. • Walking Manners: Still in training but improved a lot on leash walking! Now he's excited to go out for walks. • Housetrained: Fully-housebroken, using the bathroom only outside. • Baths: Not a fan! • Separation Anxiety: None, thanks to the other dog in the house. • Bark or Howl: Not really... except when he greets his foster at home out of joy. • Likes & Dislikes: He likes other dogs and tug-of-war! He loves beef and he likes to get pets! / He's not a fan of being chased or carried by people. He seems to get better as times go by though.

❗Current location: in a private shelter in South Korea❗ Meet Philip 👋 This adorable pup was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea, in January 2022 when he was just 2 months old. He and his siblings were sent to a high-kill city pound, where they faced an uncertain fate. Thankfully, HDS Rescue stepped in and brought them to safety at a private shelter. Ever since then, Philip has been waiting for his chance to experience the warmth of a loving home. He’s ready to thrive and can’t wait to meet his forever family! • Personality: Gentle, Calm, Friendly Philip is as easygoing as they come! He’s friendly with new faces, including men and children, and adapts quickly to new environments. He’s a sweet, social pup who will melt your heart. Calm and gentle, he’s not one to bark unnecessarily. • Affinity with - Dogs: Great with other dogs - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Gentle and calm when saying hello to children on walks • Walking Manners: Philip is a leash pro—he’s gentle and follows his handler’s lead beautifully. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Housetrained: He’ll need some potty training in a new environment, but with regular walks, he’s very likely to prefer doing his business outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Not tested but he would tolerate them well • Barks/Howls: No • Car Sickness: On his first car ride, he did great! Meet Potato! She is only 8 months, which we expect her to be larger after fully grown up. Potato has playful energy. She plays actively with other doggie friends and loves tug play. Potato is very cautious about people and needs some time to get comfortable to new environment. She doesn’t like touch of people much. She doesn't show any aggressive behaviours though. She doesn’t bark unnecessarily unless he is frightened. She is gentle girl. Potato likes to rest and spend her time on her own. But she doesn’t like being left alone. Especially she doens’t like to be in the cannel. Potato is ok with bathing and good with gromming. She has good walking manner. She is well pee-pad trained at home. But She can make mistakes at first time. This lovely girl is waiting for her forever family. Plz give her a chance to be your family member. Basic Information * With People: Is curious about people but still timid. Doesn’t approach first and may get startled if someone moves too suddenly, so it’s best to approach him gently. Meet Cooper! He is such a gentle and loving 3 year old jindo mix boy. Behaviours from the previous foster: Cooper is loving boy who is so gentle and friendly to people and his doggie friends. He is open-hearted to even strangers. He isn’t a big barker. He is usually calm and gentle, But sometimes he gets annoyed when his doggie friends bother him. He is good with walks but he gets liitle bit nervous and freeze when he go unfamiliar places. He needs some time to get comfortable to new surroundings. He is not a big fan of bathing and grooming, especially ear-cleaning. But He will let you do if you try it with gentle touch. Even though when he gets stressed and whine, He doen’t show any aggression. He doen’t have any seperation anxieties either. He is waiting for his forever family and ready to be your lovely family member. Be his loving family and he will be with you and adores you forever. Meet Peach🍑 * With People : She’s great with women and children. She’s just a bit sensitive about head touches, especially from adult men — she might give a little grumble to show she’s not comfortable, but it’s nothing aggressive. * With Dogs : She loves running around with familiar dogs — they sniff, play, and have so much energy together! * With Cats : She hasn’t had experience living with cats. When she sees or smells a cat during walks, she gets curious and may try to chase. * Separation Anxiety : She does very well alone and is calm when left alone during the day, simply resting or napping. She also gets along well with other dogs, even without people around. * Potty Training : She’s great about not pottying indoors and is well-trained to go outside. Even during the rainy season, she’s quick to do her business as soon as she’s outside! * Hygiene : She loves baths, drying, and brushing! Her nails haven’t been trimmed much due to all the walks, but her teeth are in excellent condition, and she gets regular brushing. * Walk : She doesn’t pull on the leash during walks, except when she’s going potty or when she spots cats or birds, in which case she may try to chase and pull on the leash. * Car Sickness : She has no issues with car rides at all. She’s very familiar with traveling since she goes on trips often. 💌Special Notes💌 * She waits for her turn for treats with other dogs and is patient when alone. However, she tends to guard her favorite treats, growling to keep others away — but only when they’re given to her, never when in her owner’s hands. *She has no possessiveness over toys or regular treats and food.
