This transition has been big for him, but his loving spirit shines through—he is truly sweet as can be. Randy is used to having someone home with him most of the time, and he would thrive in a quiet, low-key home where he can enjoy companionship, comfort, and plenty of cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly content as an only dog, soaking up all the love for himself. Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 5 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He was recently introduced to odor detection work and his trainer said he was a natural. He catches on to new commands quickly and would love someone to work with. Ramen would do best in an adult only household. He sometimes takes time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has shown a tendency to resource guard when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Ramen has had a lot of interest from families wanting a lap dog; he prefers to show affection through play and is not a couch potato. Ramen needs an experienced owner who comfortable addressing his guarding behaviors, willing to continue exercising his body and his mind, and able to commit to regular grooming. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. Hazel is a 12 mo, medium sized puppy who is equal parts sweet, goofy, and full of life! This bouncy girl is a total lovebug with her people and just one big, nutty goofball at heart. She is eager to please, but like many young, energetic pups, she is still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm. Hazel adores other dogs, but is a bit too loud and bouncy for cats. She is very smart, treat-motivated, and responds well to consistent correction and structure. Hazel does still like to jump up when excited, so she will need adopters who can be firm but loving, and give her basic obedience training. A home with routine, consistency, and plenty of exercise will set her up for success. Hazel is very good with her family but is reactive to strangers. It may take her a bit to feel comfortable with a stranger. At her core, Hazel is a fun-loving, affectionate pup who just needs an active forever home that can give her structure, adventures, and all the love she deserves.

My name is Zippy from Korea. I am a 4-year-old male Poodle/Terrier mix weighing about 10 lbs, and I’m hoping to find my forever home. I was saved from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea and am one of the lucky few to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to start a new life. My adoption fee of $1,595 is a donation that is non-refundable and helps save the lives of other dogs in need and covers my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. The fee is firm and helps save other dogs in need of rescue and medical care. We do not guarantee the breed or age of our dogs. Donations are always appreciated to help support our rescue work.
