Story
Meet Phil! Some dogs have "puppy dog eyes"... and then there's Phil. This handsome 5-year-old, 16 lb, Chihuahua/Poodle mix was unanimously voted "Most Beautiful Eyes" by his peers, and one look at his soulful gaze will tell you exactly why. Phil is a playful, cuddly little gremlin with just the right amount of goofy charm. The second his harness comes out, he breaks into an excited little dance because he knows it's time for an adventure! Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood or a ride in the car, Phil is always ready to be your sidekick. Speaking of car rides, Phil rides like a true gentleman. He settles in like the prince he is and enjoys the journey without any fuss. At home, he's equally easygoing, he gets along wonderfully with his doggy roommates, happily shares his space, and couldn't care less about the resident cat. When the excitement is over, Phil is a professional napper. His favorite pastime is stretching out for a long, cozy snooze before rolling over to gaze lovingly into your eyes, reminding you just how special you are to him. Phil is potty trained and does a great job of letting you know when he needs to head outside, making him an easy addition to just about any home. Phil is looking for a family who will appreciate his sweet nature, playful spirit, and award-worthy eyes. If you're searching for a loyal companion who loves adventures just as much as afternoon naps and endless cuddles, Phil is ready to steal your heart—one look at a time. Phil is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 6-year-old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs.  Foster Update: Ramen may be small in stature, but he's packed full of personality, brains, and just the right amount of spice. This cool cup of noodles is an active, intelligent dog who thrives when he has a job to do and someone to learn alongside. Since entering foster care, Ramen has been an impressive student. He's crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on leash. More than anything, he loves to learn. His foster family and trainer have discovered that Ramen is incredibly smart and eager to work, picking up new skills and commands with remarkable speed. He was recently introduced to odor detection work, and his trainer described him as a natural. Give Ramen a challenge, and he'll happily rise to meet it. Ramen is fully e-collar trained through Nirvana K9 Training, giving him a strong foundation in structure, communication, and reliable off-leash responsiveness with the right handler. Ramen isn't looking for a life spent lounging on the couch. While he enjoys spending time with his people, he tends to show affection through play, training, and shared activities rather than being a traditional lap dog. He's happiest when his mind is engaged and his day includes opportunities to learn, explore, and work alongside his person. Like many thoughtful dogs, Ramen can take a little time to warm up to new people. He tends to be more trusting of women initially, but with patience and positive interactions, he can build strong relationships with those he comes to know. Because of his preferences and comfort level, he would do best in an adult-only home. Ramen is dog friendly and would likely enjoy a canine companion who matches his energy and play style. He would be especially well-suited to a similarly sized female dog around his age. Ramen has also shown some resource-guarding tendencies with high-value toys. His trainer is actively working with him on these behaviors, and he is making progress. Because of this, he is looking for an experienced owner who understands canine behavior, is comfortable continuing his training, and can provide clear, consistent guidance. The ideal home for Ramen is one that appreciates a dog who is both intelligent and engaging—a home that will continue exercising not just his body, but also his remarkable mind. In return, Ramen will offer endless entertainment, unwavering loyalty, and the special satisfaction that comes from partnering with a dog who genuinely loves to learn. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Ramen was surrendered to Carson city shelter and transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 5/19/24; he is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. July 12, 2026, 6:02 pm

My name is Tilly, and I came all the way from Korea in hopes of finding my forever home. I am a 4-year-old Poodle girl and weigh 12 lbs — sweet, gentle, and full of charm. I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, and now I’m ready for a new chapter filled with kindness and care. I’ve traveled a long way to get here, and all I need now is a family who will give me the love I’ve been waiting for. So far, I have not shown any issues with other dogs, children, or people — but every dog may respond differently when settling into a new home. My adoption fee of $1,695 is a donation that is non-refundable and helps save the lives of other dogs in need. It covers my spay, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, and transport costs from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. We do not guarantee the breed or age of our dogs. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and all adoption fees are donations that help more dogs get their second chance. If you think you can open your heart to a very special girl like me, please fill out an adoption or foster application on my page at www.gingerspetrescue.orgMarch 7, 2026, 8:59 pm
