He was rescued from a kill shelter in South Korea, where his future was uncertain — but today, Buttons is safe and ready for a fresh start filled with love and care. At five years old, Buttons is in a wonderful stage of life. He enjoys calm environments, cozy spaces, and being close to his people. He has a sweet, easygoing nature and is happiest simply knowing he’s safe and loved. â¨ Buttons is looking for a patient, loving foster or forever home where he can truly settle in and feel secure. With kindness and consistency, he will become a loyal and affectionate companion. Adoption Information Buttons’ adoption fee is $1,595, a non-refundable donation that helps support ongoing rescue efforts. Swannie is a 2 year old, spayed, beautiful chocolate and white shihtzu looking for her forever home. Swannie is very shy and timid at first and will slowly warm up to her people as she settles in and learns she is safe in her new home. Once that happens, look out because here comes the zoomies! Swannie loves toys! She likes entertaining herself with any dog toy as well as playing tug with you or a furry friend. She gets along well with other dogs. Peaceful co-existence at the beginning and interactive chase and play when she gets to know them. Cats are a curiosity for her. She lets them know she’s there by barking. She doesn’t chase them. With proper guidance and training she should be fine with cats. She is doing well with her potty training routine and will need your help & support transitioning to her new home. She sleeps through the night without accidents. She has decided her favorite place to sleep is at the foot of her foster family’s bed. She’s a good eater and will take treats. Once she is over her shyness she should be easy to train. Swannie will always let you know if she’s done with her food or her water bowl is empty. She will push it around to remind you to pick it up or fill the water. Leash training is progressing slowly. She wants to do all the dog things she didn’t have in her prior environment, she’s just timid and shy at first. Patience and consistency as she works those things out will help her accomplish goals. She is getting used to riding in the car. She will need someone physically able to lift her up and confident in holding her. She is squirrelly until she trusts you. Once you earn her trust she is cuddly, sweet and does the cutest happy dance for you when you get home. Love and patience is the primary trait she is looking for in her forever family. -----  A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters: Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:  ✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.  ✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).  ✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.  The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.  Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.  Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bentley! Bentley is a 4-year-old, 10 LB Terrier/Lhasa Apso mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. This little guy is sweet, cuddly, and loving with his people once he feels safe — but he does take time to open up and trust. Because of this, Bentley is looking for a very special home that can give him patience, structure, and stability. Bentley will need an adult-only household in a calmer, quieter environment. A bustling, busy home or small children would be too overwhelming for him. He enjoys going on walks and would love a quieter neighborhood where he can explore without too much stress. Once he has bonded with his person, he becomes incredibly loyal, affectionate, and loves to curl up for snuggles. Bentley does well with other dogs, but tends to prefer smaller dogs to larger ones. He can be shy and may fear nip when he’s uncomfortable, so he will need an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who understands shy or fearful pups and can give him the space and time he needs to decompress. Underneath his initial shyness, Bentley is playful, goofy, and full of love. With the right home — one that is calm, predictable, and patient — Bentley will blossom into a fun and affectionate little companion who bonds deeply to his person. Bentley is UTD vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
