Meet Mr. Wonderful! This sweet boy was found wandering the streets of Compton, scared, alone, and unsure who to trust. He had no microchip, and after a 10-day stray hold Shelter Hope took him. We got him fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and now he is thriving in foster care, ready for his second chance. Sadly, he has been patiently waiting for his forever home at Shelter Hope for over 4 months. Mr. Wonderful is a tender-hearted 1.5 year old Shih Tzu mix, weighing just 15 lbs. With soulful eyes, a charming underbite, and a beautiful spirit, Mr. Wonderful lives up to his name in every way. Once he feels safe, he becomes a total cuddlebug who loves pets and snuggling in your lap to soak up affection. But he isn’t just about snuggles. Mr. Wonderful is an energetic, enthusiastic guy who loves to zoom around, and play with anyone up for some fun. And the best part? His foster says if you ask him for a kiss, he will run up to you and shower you with love. Mr. Wonderful is a jumper, so he will need a home with a tall, secure fence. He can be a little nervous with new people, but with a bit of patience and kindness, he will soon be climbing into your lap looking for love. Our foster says he does great with older kids who can give him the initial slow introduction he needs to feel comfortable.
