Story
Rocky is 5 years old. We acquired him from family friends who still have his parents. He is a loyal companion. Protective. Alerts us when someone is in the yard, at the door, etc. Craves attention. Needs to be with a family that is home with him often. Loves to play fetch. Loves massages. Loves treats. Loves walks. Loves car rides. His best friend is our cat. He is house trained, he will let us know when he has to go, but when we are gone for an extended period of time, he will potty in the house. We recently started putting him in a kennel when we are going to be gone for more than a couple hours. We are a busy family and feel that Rocky deserves to be with a family that can give him more attention. His biggest downfall is that he is food aggressive. If he finds human food or we drop human food and he gets ahold of it he becomes aggressive if we try to take it away, so we don’t try to anymore.

Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. But none of that stops me from living a full, joyful life. I scoot wherever I want to go and don’t let anything dim my sparkle. I’m looking for a foster home or a forever family who sees my heart before my challenges. I’ll need a little extra care — and I’ll give you a lifetime of love in return. Hi people! I am Bellamy! I am a 2 year old, 12.1 pound, Shih Tzu mix lady who is looking for my forever peeps! I am a sweet girl and I promise to be good to your resident dogs and cats. I especially love dogs my size - I follow my canine foster brother everywhere he goes! I'm a little shy with new people, but I warm up fast. I really just want love! I like to be near my pack and I follow my foster mom around. If she leaves me behind, I stamp my foot and give her a cute little huff in protest. Speaking of my foster mom, she has started helping me with my basic training and I'm doing really well! I like to spend time in my crate and I'm getting the hang of doing my business outside! I like to explore my new surroundings, followed by a snooze in a big ol' dog bed. I love a good chase and pounce on a ball, and I especially like to collect and stash my toys behind my bed for safe keeping :) I would love to find a patient family who will show me lots of love and grace while I learn the ropes. I would probably be best with older or no children since I'm still pretty timid, but I've made great strides in the short time I've been with TNT and I promise to continue to show you my adorable personality more and more each day!
