Story

Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. But none of that stops me from living a full, joyful life. I scoot wherever I want to go and don’t let anything dim my sparkle. I’m looking for a foster home or a forever family who sees my heart before my challenges. I’ll need a little extra care — and I’ll give you a lifetime of love in return. Dog meets welcome Kids welcome Cats unknown Located in Plainfield IL Ready to let a special girl steal your heart? I’m Ivy… and I’m ready to be yours Apply to foster or adopt: www.w2wrescue.com

Story

Sweet as can be and every bit as kind-hearted as her namesake, Rose is a member of our Golden Girls litter and ready to find her forever family! Born around August 1, 2026, Rose currently weighs 9 lbs. Her mom is a 15 lb Shih Tzu, but Rose is a mixed breed and is expected to grow to a medium size, so plan for a little more dog than a typical Shih Tzu. Rose gets along well with cats, other dogs, and respectful children, making her a wonderful fit for a busy, loving household. She's a gentle soul who would love a family ready to give her plenty of patience, cuddles, and positive-reinforcement training as she grows. If you're looking for a loyal friend with a big heart, Rose might be the one for you! The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe the breed, since our pups all come from shelters, we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
