Story
Biscuit is a playful, sweet, neutered male dog, maybe about 9 years old. Probably mostly ShihTzu, he only weighs 14 pounds. His background is a puzzle as he was found as a dirty stray. After a stay at an animal shelter, he came into foster care where he displays excellent house manners. He is fully housebroken, seldom barks, likes to cuddle and enjoys playing with his toys. He gets along very well with another larger dog in his foster home. On his walks he greets other dogs enthusiastically. He has not been tested with cats. Biscuit shows evidence of an allergic reaction to flea bites. He lost most of his hair on his hind quarters. But with short term medication his condition is improving and his hair is growing back. Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. But none of that stops me from living a full, joyful life. I scoot wherever I want to go and don’t let anything dim my sparkle. I’m looking for a foster home or a forever family who sees my heart before my challenges. I’ll need a little extra care — and I’ll give you a lifetime of love in return. Hi, I'm LouAnn! If you're looking for the perfect puppy, you found me. I'm a Shih Tzu mix, born approximately late May 2026, and a little over 3 pounds of pure personality. I've got typical puppy energy, so be ready to run around and play with me — but I also love to lounge on the couch and bed with my foster family for puppy naps, and I sleep all night like a champ. I'm an adventurous little explorer and love checking out every room, the backyard, and anywhere I go. I'm already a pro with potty training, car rides, and my crate. I love playing with everyone, especially my puppy sister, but I'd also do just fine as an only dog. I haven't been around young children or cats yet, so if your family has kids, I'd do best with respectful kids ages 8 and up who understand I'm a tiny girl who can get hurt easily. I also need a family who's home much of the day, since I'm still little and need lots of care and company.
