*****AVAILABLE NOW-I am in Yorkville Il awaiting my forever family******* Hi Everyone, My name is Oscar and I would like to add some wags to your tail. I am a precious 7 month old Teddy Bear (Shih Tzu/Bichon) baby who is looking for my forever people!! True to the adorable-sounding name, Teddy Bear dogs are a hybrid or designer cross breed of a Shih Tzu and a Bichon Frise. They are also known as a Zuchon or Shichon. Teddy Bear dogs are small in stature, but they make up for it with big hearts. They are loyal, loving to a fault, and capture the hearts of anyone they lay their eyes on. These dogs captured the hearts of the world around the 2000s when the designer breed became truly popular. I am going to make an excellent addition to a loving family!! I am adorable, smart, loving and sweet as sweet can be. I have a great temperament!! Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!! I am a breeder release due to the failing economy. I am good with children and other animals. Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact jbrescuerangers@yahoo.com for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (Neutered, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Oscar 332500901402353J

Story
One of these ears is not like the other...Vincent Van Go-Go is a gorgeous male Shih Tzu. He is 8-years old, and overweight at 16-pounds. When he was picked up as a stray, he was very matted. Once trimmed, it became evident that he has one beautiful blue eye. He also had a "fake ear. His left ear canal is normal, but he has no ear flap on that side. It makes him unique and special, and it doesn't affect his hearing. When his hair grows back, you can even let him grow a new "fake ear if you prefer. No one will even notice. :) Vince likes other dogs and calm people. He is a food hound, and will need to be fed separately from any other pets. Maybe we should have named him Hoover?? Vince also cries for attention in the cutest of ways. He sounds like a mix of a baby and a small cat. It is very endearing. Vince likes cars, walks, and is okay in a crate. Please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $275. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt. Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers. Bernie! We just can't with this cuteness!! Bernie is a 12-year-old, 13-pound Shih Tzu. His owner moved and decided it was too hard to take their dog with. :( Bernie is doing well in foster with his canine foster siblings. He likes people, snuggles, slow walks, and lots of nap time. Other than a little arthritis, and dry eyes, he is in excellent shape! Apply to give this cutie a forever home. He will bring you so much joy! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $245. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. Story
Hi my name is Sandile. I am a sweet and loving shih tzu. I get along great with me two other dog siblings in my foster home. I also do well with cats. I am nervous around humans, but I am working hard to learn how to trust! I am also being brave about going outside, because you know that can be scary too! I use puppy pads, but am learning outside is where I need to potty. Everything is so new so I am doing my best to learn the world is not so bad after all. I'm looking for my furever home, but please understand I will need time to warm up!
