Hannibal is a 6-month-old Shih/Aussie mix who is up to date on all his shots. He is playful, friendly, and loves toys and playing with kids. He has a sweet personality and enjoys being around people. Hannibal is kennel trained and sleeps in his kennel at night without any issues. He does not pee in his kennel. He is doing well with potty training and goes outside to pee. We are looking to rehome Hannibal because, unfortunately, caring for a young dog has become too much responsibility for my parents. This decision was not made lightly, and our priority is finding him a loving home. We are seeking someone who has the time, patience, and compassion to care for a young, active dog and who is looking to add a loving companion to their home. Hannibal would do best with someone who can continue his training and give him the attention he deserves. Daisy is a super sweet Shih Tzu (mix?) She's approximately 7 to 8 years old. Before I adopted her, she was found by a Good Samaritan in very bad shape. She was cold and matted, and had to have her eyes removed. I have had her for five years and she is a joy. She hates grooming and going to the vet, so she does have to take Gabaptenin before either of those appointments. She's crate trained and potty trained. She does sleep in my bed. She will not have accidents if taken outside to the grass. Her hearing isn't as good as it used to be. She does have a "Halo" she can wear to avoid bonking her head. She loves to play with toys. She weighs a whopping 13 pounds.

Meet Harry, a 13-pound Shih Tzu with serious cool-guy energy. Harry is a laid-back, easygoing little dude who takes life as it comes and doesn’t let much faze him. He’s happiest hanging near his people, stretched out on a comfy couch, or quietly keeping an eye on what everyone’s doing. Harry currently lives in a foster home with an 80-pound dog and two other small dogs and fits right in with no issues at all. He’s wearing a belly band at the moment because living with another unfixed male has sparked a little marking behavior, but he’s scheduled to be neutered this Monday, and that should resolve things nicely. He loves to follow you around and be part of the group—but he’s not the type who needs to be front and center. Harry is more of a “hang by your side” kind of guy, content to sit nearby, keeping you company without demanding constant attention. He enjoys being outside, would love going for walks, and would do well with someone who likes a balance of activity and relaxation. Harry thrives in a cool, calm home that matches his mellow personality. No chaos for this guy. He’s especially fond of men and would make a great sidekick—whether that’s tagging along on a trip, hanging out at your desk while you work, or just being your quiet companion through the day. If you’re looking for a low-key, loyal little buddy who’s up for just about anything as long as he’s with you, Harry may be your perfect match. Posey is an approximately 8-year-old Shih Tzu weighing just over 14 pounds. She is a tiny boss with a sweet edge, equal parts empress and little lady. She is the picture of polite and has impeccable house manners. There is no jumping, no accidents, and no drama. Posey loves to be loved and expects her affection to be delivered with appropriate respect. Posey is also a fighter. She came to rescue with severe pneumonia and spent 3 very scary days in the ER before pulling through like a champ. Her white blood cell count has improved significantly and she is back to her spunky self, though it has not yet fully normalized. Her body is still fighting something, which may be residual from the pneumonia or could be an as yet undiagnosed issue. She will require continued veterinary care and follow-up bloodwork. She enjoys the company of other polite, respectful dogs, especially the boys, and happily accepts gentle affection from people of all ages, including kids. She does not tolerate hyper or pushy dogs and will correct poor manners quickly and with force (lol). Posey has not been cat tested, but she would likely ignore a feline housemate. She loves walks around the neighborhood, has no issues jumping on the couch to make herself comfy or running up and down the stairs to track her person down. Posey rides well in the car, sleeps in her foster’s bed, and is so trustworthy that she has free range of the house when her foster family is away. Because of her age and medical history, Posey may have future health needs and will do best in a calm, mature home that can provide consistency, monitoring, and a plenty of well-earned pampering. Posey requires professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. If you have a groomer referral, please include it with your application. Meet Eclair She is a Shih Tzu/Terrier/Spaniel mix pup who was born on 5/2/25. She is expected to be around 20-25 pounds when she is full-grown, but we can not guarantee that. Eclair was rescued from a humane case where there were over 50 dogs in the house. Most of the adult dogs were around 25 pounds. She is crate-trained, almost fully house-trained, and ready for a home of her own. Some of the dogs from the home require regular grooming, and some do not. There is a chance Eclair might need to visit a groomer every few months, as we don't know exactly who her parents are.
