Please read Milo's bio before submitting an application - thank you.
Meet Milo!! Milo has been in a wonderful foster home, as he waited for his scheduled neutered. His foster worked very hard on housetraining and crate training ;-) Our fosters are PRICELESS, and they know the rescue dog best, so we honor their suggestions for a perfect forever home. Volunteers become attached to their foster pups and want to make sure the puppy will have what really makes them happy when moving to a new forever home.
Milo needs a fenced in yard (not electric), a dog playmate, and someone that has time for a puppy and does not work long hours where he would be crated all day. Milo is the sweetest pup and loves all people, kids and dogs he meets. He really is a very special little dog! He has a BFF at his foster home, and they snuggle and play all day! Milo loves to run in the yard to burn off his puppy energy. He listens well and is learning the game of fetch. Milo was just neutered 4/29/25, so now he is ready. Milo is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands. He is a sweet, silly and very goofy pup: -) Milo will require grooming every 6-8 weeks and he did very well for his professional grooming at Polished Paws Salon. You can see his photo with a fresh groom, but his hair grows FAST, and he will be due soon for a grooming! Milo will make a fantastic addition to the right family. We are looking for local adoption, due to our home visit requirement and trial adoption process. Adoption within a 40-mile radius of Avon Lake. Milo is 6 months old, 12.5 lbs. We had Milo completely vaccinated, including his boosters and neutered at ALAC.
If you are interested in Milo and can offer him the above description of his dream home, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Milo would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process. Adoption fee/donation is $400.00. Milo will be visiting Avon Hollywood Feed, 35901 Detroit Rd, Avon from 11am to 2pm.
If you have specific questions, please email the adoption coordinator at info@loveastraydog.com If you want to help support our mission, you can mail your donation to: Love-A-Stray, P.O.
