Unlike Dr Suess’ grumpy Grinch, this Grinch is the exact opposite! He loves everything about Christmas season! From the frequent visitors to the delicious food to the atmosphere and music! Temperament wise, Grinch is as sweet as can be. He loves to be around people. He loves attention and affection. He loves pets from his people. He gets excited when people approach him. He barks for attention if he feels ignored. Anyone who tries to treat him like a senior will face his wrath! Grinch is as spunky and energetic as a year-old puppy. He loves his playtime and his outside time. The prospect of going on walks sends him in a tippy tap frenzy. He wiggles his body into a happy rhythm. He works himself up, sometimes he coughs :/ He pulls with hurried paces initially but then eases into a nice stroll. Grinch walks with his head held up. He is a very proud walker :D He loves to stop and watch the neighbors and trucks. He quietly surveys them. They won’t even know they are being watched :D Grinch likes to leave his calling cards along his walks. Off leash, Grinch stays close to you. He likes to keep you in his view. If you are the needy type and want a pup that loves to be held, Grinch is your guy. Leave a couple of cozy blankets for him if you are going to binge a few shows. He likes to burrow in the blankets. Grinch is about 7 years old, 10lb Shih Tzu. He is looking for a family who would involve him in family activities. Daily walks and cuddles are his thing. Grinch is wonderful with dogs. A laid-back furry sibling is welcome. He does not like unruly pups in his face 😊

Daisy is a super sweet Shih Tzu (mix?) She's approximately 7 to 8 years old. Before I adopted her, she was found by a Good Samaritan in very bad shape. She was cold and matted, and had to have her eyes removed. I have had her for five years and she is a joy. She hates grooming and going to the vet, so she does have to take Gabaptenin before either of those appointments. She's crate trained and potty trained. She does sleep in my bed. She will not have accidents if taken outside to the grass. Her hearing isn't as good as it used to be. She does have a "Halo" she can wear to avoid bonking her head. She loves to play with toys. She weighs a whopping 13 pounds.

Hannibal is a 6-month-old Shih/Aussie mix who is up to date on all his shots. He is playful, friendly, and loves toys and playing with kids. He has a sweet personality and enjoys being around people. Hannibal is kennel trained and sleeps in his kennel at night without any issues. He does not pee in his kennel. He is doing well with potty training and goes outside to pee. We are looking to rehome Hannibal because, unfortunately, caring for a young dog has become too much responsibility for my parents. This decision was not made lightly, and our priority is finding him a loving home. We are seeking someone who has the time, patience, and compassion to care for a young, active dog and who is looking to add a loving companion to their home. Hannibal would do best with someone who can continue his training and give him the attention he deserves. Because he can’t see or hear well, walks on a leash aren’t really his thing — he prefers to just stand close or explore at his own pace. He would do best with someone who is home most of the time. Leo becomes anxious if he can’t find you and may bark until you return, so he wouldn’t do well in an apartment or with long periods alone. He recently had a dental cleaning and full bloodwork, which looked great, and he’s all ready for his forever home. Cupid is here to steal your heart. This sweet, purebred Shih Tzu girl is just 2.5 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. Cupid is a bundle of furry fun who is always ready for PLAY. She is obsessed with squeaky toys and absolutely adores her ball. When she is not entertaining herself or begging her person to throw the ball (or retrieve it from under the couch), she loves wrestling with one of her foster brothers or sisters. When it is time to relax, she switches gears easily and becomes a champion snuggler, always happy to share a sweet kiss or two. Cupid, or 'Cewpie', came from a very loving home. Sadly, her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her due to health concerns so that Cupid could have the life she deserves. Out of respect for her former owner’s wishes, Cupid will only be placed with a younger, active family that has another similarly sized, playful dog for her to bond with. No exceptions. She loves exploring the yard and is ALWAYS up for a walk. Rain, snow, or sunshine - Cupid is an outdoorsy girl! While she may not walk in a perfectly straight line yet, she does quite well on a leash and will be a rockstar in no time. This smart girl has great house manners. She is housebroken, though she previously relied on pee pads due to her owner’s health, and she is quickly getting the hang of doing all her business outside. Cupid does not chew or get into things she should not, which has earned her some freedom to roam a limited area of the house when her foster parents step out. At night, she sleeps soundly in her foster mom’s big bed. She is also cat friendly. Cupid will need regular professional grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable.
