Story
Meet Swan, the 6 month old female cat. Swan came to the Shelter as a stray with another cat Dove. A good Samaritan found them as strays. Since her arrival to the Shelter, Swan has been social with staff and volunteers alike. Due to her bright white coloration, we are recommending that she is an indoor kitty moving forward. Dawn may do well in a home with another feline with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them

Meet Lindt, the chocolate point Siamese. Lindt came to the Shelter after his previous home just wasn’t the best fit for him. He was indoors only and did well. He was social with people he met who lived in the home as well as strangers that came over. Unfortunately for Lindt, the resident cat in the home wasn’t a fan. Lindt may do well in a home with other animals with a very slow, thoughtful introduction or may be best as the only cat in the home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. Story
Meet Ronald! A stunning lilac point Siamese with a matching personality! 😍 We don’t know what happened to this guy for the first five years but our guess is that someone got a kitten- loved him but not enough to even do medical basics. He somehow found himself on a rural property learning to fight for territory and food. But he is a lover and not a fighter so the wounds are deep. We trapped him and did medical but quickly realized this sweetheart deserves a new life! He would love someone who let him enjoy the comfort of cuddles on the couch but also explore by day a safe property where he can continue to use the skills he learned all these years! He is instant purrs the second he sees a human. He loves his wet food and appreciates all the new finer things in life! Ronaldo will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Ronaldo is about 5 years old.

Story
Hi, I'm Kinoko! I'm a gentle senior Siamese girl with big blue eyes and an adorable slightly cross-eyed gaze that's sure to steal your heart! I came to Town Cats through no fault of my own—my previous family no longer had the capacity to care for me, and now I'm looking for a loving home where I can enjoy my golden years. I enjoy the simple things in life: soft headbutts, cozy purrs, comfy beds, and quiet companionship with my favorite people. I have lived happily with another cat before and may do well with a calm feline friend after a slow, thoughtful introduction. I do have short colon syndrome, which means I need a little extra care with my diet and digestive needs, but my special food helps keep me feeling my best! My dream home is a calm, peaceful one with someone who doesn't mind my age or my medical needs and understands that senior kitties have so much love to give. I would do best in a quieter home without loud children, where I can relax and enjoy my days.
