Story
Puma is a striking beauty with soulful blue eyes, snow-white feet, and a short, velvety coat that hints at her Siamese heritage. At 10 1⁄2 years old, she has known deep love—and deep loss. Her first two owners adored her, but both sadly passed away, leaving this tender-hearted girl searching for one more forever home. At first glance, Puma may seem quiet and reserved, but once she knows you, her true personality shines. She is very talkative and chatty with her people, loves to interact, and still has a playful spark that makes her a joy to be around. She’ll happily share her thoughts with you, follow you around for companionship, and engage in gentle play when the mood strikes. Puma is looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. She adores cozy bed snuggles, blissful head scratches, and quality time with her favorite human. She doesn’t need constant activity—just your presence, patience, and a heart open to a deeply affectionate, conversational companion as she settles into her next chapter Puma would do best as the only cat in your heart and home, where she can feel safe and loved again. A mellow dog might be okay with a slow introduction, but she truly shines in peaceful surroundings.

Story
Hi, I’m Luna! I’m a curious, chatty girl with three legs and plenty of personality. I move quickly and get around just fine, though I can’t jump as high as most cats. I can be shy at first, especially in new environments, but I warm up quickly with kind people. I love being pet and brushed and I am very vocal when I want attention or when it’s time to eat. I am very food motivated and serious about my meal schedule! I prefer to be the only pet and would thrive with all the love for myself, though a quiet tank pet like a bird or lizard would be fine. I enjoy playtime, exploring, and relaxing in my favorite spot on a desk chair or sleeping near people’s feet. I can get overwhelmed by loud noises like vacuums or yelling. I’m a loving, playful companion who will keep you company and remind you when it’s dinner time.

Story
Avi is the sweetest lover cat! She is definitely shy and skiddish at first, but once she warms up, she is a cuddle bug. She is 10 years old but still young at heart. She loves to play fetch with her mouse. Unfortunately I cannot keep her due to living situations, but she will bring love and warmth wherever she is

Story
Meet Firefly — a bright spark of energy and charm! This confident, playful boy lives up to his name with his lively spirit and curiosity that lights up every room. Firefly loves to play, especially with his favorite ball toys. You’ll often catch him stalking, pouncing, and chasing them around like a tiny panther on a mission. He’s also a big fan of food puzzles, which keep his sharp mind and food motivation happily occupied! Firefly is social and easygoing with people and adapts quickly to new situations. He’s great with both cats and dogs — he can comfortably share space, food, and naps with them. After a day full of fun, Firefly likes to curl up on the bed with his humans or lounge on a cat tree for a cozy snooze. Firefly would thrive in an active home that loves interactive playtime and has other furry friends to keep him company. If you’re looking for a clever, confident, and entertaining companion, Firefly will make every day feel a little more alive. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. To meet him, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptJanuary 22, 2026, 7:19 pm

Story
Jenkins' love language is play… play… and more play! This spirited guy is all about fun, and he’ll chase a wand toy for as long as you’ll let him. Jenkins has energy to burn and thrives with daily playtime. He’s the kind of cat who turns a living room into a playground and makes you laugh while doing it. Outside of his playful streak, Jenkins is an easygoing companion who settles into new spaces quickly. He enjoys being pet and having people nearby, though he’s not overly demanding about attention. While he wasn’t a lap cat in foster care, that could change once he feels fully at home. Jenkins would be a great match for someone who works from home or spends a lot of time around the house and is looking for a playful friend. If you’re ready for a buddy who brings a lot of energy to your life, Jenkins might just be your perfect match.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. More information about this cat and all of our adoptable cats can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/cats.
