Meet Ringo & Jude - Handsome, affectionate 7 year old boys who`ve always lived together! Ringo wears his Siamese mix background in unique ways, with seal and brown markings on his white coat and pale blue eyes. His brother Jude is white and black with jewel-like yellow eyes. Jude is a bit bolder and more out-going, while Ringo tends to hang back just a bit, but is also affectionate and loves petting after just a few minutes with a new person. Both love to be petted, seem to be quite good about using their litterboxes, and are interested in playing with toys, but that can be a little awkward when you`re a big kitty in the confines of a shelter cat condo! Although they currently have access to several condo units, they`ll undoubtedly be more comfortable in home where they can truly stretch out and show of their lean athleticism! They appear to be pretty attached to each other so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. Their adoption fee is 2 for 1 to help make that happen. This handsome, healthy pair was transferred to our care from a more crowded shelter, and we`re hoping we can end their time in the Lonely Hearts Club Band by finding them a loving new home together! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

Hi, I’m Luna! I’m a curious, chatty girl with three legs and plenty of personality. I move quickly and get around just fine, though I can’t jump as high as most cats. I can be shy at first, especially in new environments, but I warm up quickly with kind people. I love being pet and brushed and I am very vocal when I want attention or when it’s time to eat. I am very food motivated and serious about my meal schedule! I prefer to be the only pet and would thrive with all the love for myself, though a quiet tank pet like a bird or lizard would be fine. I enjoy playtime, exploring, and relaxing in my favorite spot on a desk chair or sleeping near people’s feet. I can get overwhelmed by loud noises like vacuums or yelling. I’m a loving, playful companion who will keep you company and remind you when it’s dinner time.

Andy & Lovey – Bonded Siamese Pair Seeking a Safe Home Brother Andy (part Siamese) and Sister Lovey (lilac point Siamese) are a bonded brother–sister pair looking for a safe, warm place to live together. They have grown up in a managed feral colony and are very familiar with people, though they are not handled or petted. They know their names, come when whistled for, sniff fingers, and happily hang around during feeding time. They even jump into the car to eat, showing how trusting and adaptable they are. Unfortunately, they currently live in an area with heavy traffic, and their safety is a growing concern. Andy and Lovey must be placed together and would do best in a protected garden, winery, barn, or similar environment where they can stay warm and safe from harm. A small adoption fee applies. Their caregiver is deeply committed to their well-being, will help ensure a good placement, and can assist with delivery and ongoing support. These two deserve a secure place where they can stay together and live safely for the rest of their lives. Meet Miranda – a very sweet siamese mix Miranda is a stunning young adult (about 18 months old) with gorgeous Lilac Point Siamese coloring, bright blue eyes, and a white coat. She’s incredibly affectionate and flirty — winding around your ankles, rolling for belly rubs, and begging for chin scratches. Even though she’s a young adult, she still plays like a kitten with balls and string toys.  Miranda is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.
