My name is Diamond , and I’m a beautiful 6-year-old Siamese who has spent my life living in luxury with my beloved senior person. Sadly, she now needs to move into a skilled nursing facility, and they won’t let me come with her. Through no fault of my own, I’m looking for a new forever home where I can be loved just as much. A little about me… I love people! Whenever someone comes to visit, I’m the first to greet them. I’ll happily wrap around their legs and weave between their feet to make sure they notice me. I enjoy being part of whatever is going on and like to keep an eye on my people. I’m affectionate in my own Siamese way, but I’m not much of a lap cat. I don’t really enjoy being held, although every now and then, if you’re wearing your favorite pair of denim jeans, I might grace your lap for a couple of minutes. I’m not a kitten anymore, so I don’t play all day—but when the mood strikes, I play with enthusiasm! Feather wands, springs, Amazon boxes, and crinkly paper are some of my favorite toys. I’m also very well-mannered. I have several scratching posts that I absolutely love to use. Honestly, I think they’re much more fun than scratching furniture! One of my favorite pastimes is sitting by the window, chattering at the birds and watching the world go by. My person has always kept me safe indoors, and I’m looking for another indoor-only home where I can continue enjoying life from the comfort of a sunny window. I would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where I can have all of your attention to myself. Because I prefer a quieter lifestyle and like my personal space respected, I’d also do best in a home without small children . She’s as unique as she is gorgeous. She can be a little skeptical when meeting new people, but once she realizes you’re a friend, her sweet personality shines. Give her a little time and she’ll happily soak up all the pets and attention you have to offer. Before long you’ll have a devoted little lap cat who loves being close to her favorite people.
