Story
Abby is a soulful and reserved 9-year-old Siamese beauty with mesmerizing blue eyes and a sleek cream/tortie colored coat. She's looking for a patient adopter who understands her need for space and can respect her boundaries. While Abby can be shy at first, she shows affection in her own way once she feels safe. She enjoys quiet moments and gentle interaction, and it's important that her new family can read her body language and let her come out of her shell at her own pace. With time, Abby will bond deeply with someone who offers her the love and patience she needs. She may also do best with older, mature children (ages 12+).This animal's adoption fee has been prepaid by a generous donor!Adopters must be at least 18 years old with valid state-issued identification. Joybound encourages family members to participate in the adoption process, especially children (and family dogs for dog adoptions). Please visit Joybound's website for information on adoption and to view more cute cats and dogs. Primary Color: Torti Point Weight: 12.1 Age: 9yrs 3mths 0wks

I'm Coryo, I have lots to say on almost every subject. My voicemay be soft, but I can go on and on. I’m curious and affectionate, and want to be where the people are. Ilove to play and wrestle with my siblings, but I also love to explore my foster house and hang out with my foster people while they’re working. I’m a beautiful, fearless boy with a very outgoing personality. I love to approach and investigate the resident cats and even the dog (I can’t help myself – she’s got the coolest, fluffiest, feather toy (erm, tail) ever!) I am a fluffy Siamese mix that was born indoors last October to a sweet mama that was found dumped in a winery near Brentwood.   RituOctober 21, 2024, 9:12 am

Story
Ollivander and Pippin an adorable pair of bonded boys. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for their new home – is it with you? While they’re initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through.   Despite being older cats, both Ollivander and Pippin are a playful duo. Ollivander, aka Ollie, prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase and is happy to entertain himself. Pippin also likes chasing after mice, but he also really enjoys leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics! Both boys seem to be night owls and like to go on late-night escapades where they eat and play after hours. Ollie has a nightly routine where he patrols the house and checks out every room to keep an eye on what’s going on.   As a bonded pair, Ollie and Pippin have a deep connection with each other and are close. They like to sleep near each other under the covers of a blanket or bed, and often they’ll groom each other. Occasionally they’ll have a little spat that quickly resolves once they give one another space if needed.   Ollie is the more outgoing of the pair and loves seeking out attention from his humans. He can still easily startle, so being in a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. He loves being pet and getting chin scritches! Pippin is also very sweet and friendly; it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. He also tends to be very protective of Ollie and may get defensive if you pet Ollie while Pippin is right next to him. A great way to win Pippin’s trust is by offering treats. Both cats are very food motivated, which is convenient as Ollie takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer—he practically prefers his pill pocket treat more than his actual food!   Ollivander and Pippin are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form!   Best Match:   Seeking an adopter with cat experience Would do best in a quiet home, maybe cat savvy kids and teens Bonded Pair Ollivander needs medicine daily to stay happy and healthy Prefers a home without dogs October 17, 2024, 7:53 pm

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP: Ben was recently rescued from living in a backyard after his owner became very ill and had to leave him behind.  Ben is very sweet and loves pets!  He may be a bit skittish at first, but he warms up quickly and is very responsive to getting attention from people.   Ben is missing one eye.  We don’t know how this happened, but it doesn’t slow him down a bit.   Ben was born in approximately November 2022.  He has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on his vaccinations.   For more information about fostering or adopting Ben, please contact Deborah at 510-909-4961 (text preferred) or at angusnfriends@outlook.com.    Not ready to adopt? Please consider supporting our rescue efforts with a donation. All funds go directly to our cats, no amount is too small, and we are grateful for every donation. Story
Sweet girl Cinder is looking for her forever home! Cinder is a shy but playful young girl — born in July 2022 — so a family with older kids or other cats is recommended. She would make a great addition to any family who is looking for a playmate for their current fur baby(s). Cinder is a beautiful Siamese with bright blue eye and a calm temperament. She is very lovable but just like your typical cat, she will let you know when she wants attention and when she doesn't. She is completely litter-box trained and spayed, as well as microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. For more information about Cinder, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at angusnfriends@outlook.com. October 16, 2024, 4:53 pm
