Story
Pesto is a gorgeous Siamese dream! This sweet silver fox is full of purrs and empty of teeth. Pesto is friendly and sweet and loves chin rubs and churu treats. He’s might be 10 years young but he still plays like a kitten and is getting used to wearing a harness for outside time. His last owner passed away and he’s had excellent foster and vet care by a local vet tech in the meantime. After his recent full-mouth extraction, this guy is feeling good like he should. He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and now ready for his new home! Pesto gets along well with children and dogs, but not other cats. He has lots and lots of love to give to a home with no other cats who’s ready to keep him forever.

Story
Mochi is a strikingly gorgeous Flame Point Siamese with an endearingly fluffy tail! In addition to her good looks, she's the perfect kitten package - Mochi loves to play, snuggle, and relax! She likes to sleep with her humans in bed, and has done well in a foster home environment with other cats and kids. Mochi has had some skin issues in the past, we suspect likely due to food allergies. She is currently eating a prescription food and doing very well! Due to her health issue, her adopter MUST have a current cat and the adopter's vet must confirm that all vetting has been kept up to date throughout the cat's life. If you are seeing this profile, this animal IS still available! If you are interested in adopting, please do NOT email us or send us an inquiry - please just SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION!

Story
Little Barnes is a spayed female Siamese mix, born on 3/21/2018. She has some of the coloration and characteristics of a seal point Siamese mix. Little has had to leave her home because her owner had to leave. She is very shy right now, being in a strange place. She clings to her mother whose name is Mom! We are hoping we can find a home for the two of them together! Indoor cat only! The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.July 28, 2025, 8:20 am

Story
Meet Tink — the Talkative Lynx Point Queen Tink is a gorgeous Lynx Point lady with striking features and an even more striking personality. She’s still learning to trust the world, but every day she blossoms a little more. Once she feels safe, she happily leans in for gentle head and face pets — her absolute favorite way to connect. Tink has a bit of diva energy (in the most endearing way). She knows what she likes, she knows what she doesn’t, and she’s not shy about telling you. She’s wonderfully talkative and will chat with you about her day, her opinions, and whatever she thinks you need to know. She prefers to keep all four paws on the ground — being picked up is not her idea of a good time — but she’ll gladly follow you around and supervise your activities like the regal queen she is. She’s also carrying a little extra fluff and would benefit from a home that can help her stay active and keep her on track with a healthy routine. Tink is looking for a patient, cat‑savvy adopter who appreciates a cat with personality, boundaries, and a whole lot of charm. If you’re ready to earn the trust of a chatty, sassy, affectionate diva, Tink will reward you with companionship that feels truly special. This cat is fully vaccinated and litter box trained. The adoption fee for this cat is $250. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Cat If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
I got Apollo from a friend in July of 2022. Her outdoor cat got pregnant and had a litter of kittens on Mother's Day, so his birthday is May 8, 2022, making him 3 now. This all started around a year ago, when he started spraying in the house. We took him and his (not related lol) brother to the vet to have them checked out. They're both totally fine, Apollo just is a really stressed out cat that needs a home where he can claim it as his royal kingdom. He is currently trapped in my room because my mom doesn't want him ruining her house more. He has caused a significant amount of damage and seeing as he won't stop spraying, I have to give him up. He is neutered, I think he just hates not being the only cat in the house. He's a weird little guy, very clean and prissy other than the spraying. Not cuddly, but will lay next to or near you. I just want him to go to a good home where he's loved and cared for, because I really do love him. Please reach out with any questions if interested!!!!!
