Meet Minion! Don’t let this RBF fool you… this guy is pure love! Which is quite surprising considering the tragic condition in which he was found. He was rescued from the streets of NY after having been hit by a car. His would was too severe to repair and he later had his back leg amputated at the hip. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he was diagnosed with both FIV and FeLV. After healing from that, he had to have the majority of his teeth pulled. But Minion has a fighter’s spirit and none of that has held him back. He is pure energy and a lover. He LOVES to play and run just like any other able bodied cat. He is a curious and outgoing guy who loves his people. He comes with a 100% guarantee to put a smile on your face! Since he is a bit clumsy, he can be a bit messy with the litter box. He requires and oversized box, or better yet, a box in a bathtub (which is his preference). He is also a tad messy when he eats due to his lack of teeth so best to use a heavy feeding and water bowl – ceramic works great – so it stays steady as he pigs out. He would do best in a home with no young children. He gets along fine with calm dogs. He will tolerate other cats (but they must be FeLV+) but prefers to be the center of your devotion. Luca, Lola, and Lionel were all born around 5/2/2024 and are some of the friendliest kitties. These butterballs are all love and laps. They love to be around humans and while they do love to play, they also love to curl up on your lap, a cat tree, a windowsill or wherever they find comfortable, because well… they are cats, and they usually do what they want anyway. All 3 love to be in your face and right next to you – especially Lionel, the orange boy. He will be on your head, your neck, your face, anywhere he can be as close as he can to you. Lionel would be GREAT for anyone wanting a very needy, overly loving kitty. They are all litter box trained and they all have been exposed to other cats and dogs – of course with any new household we recommend slow introductions since everyone will just be meeting for the first time, but we know they can live in harmony with them 😊 These kitties would do great with children who know how to properly handle cats and understand they do like to climb, so make sure to get enough scratching posts and cat trees to keep them entertained and busy! Mochi is a strikingly gorgeous Flame Point Siamese with an endearingly fluffy tail! In addition to her good looks, she's the perfect kitten package - Mochi loves to play, snuggle, and relax! She likes to sleep with her humans in bed, and has done well in a foster home environment with other cats and kids. Mochi has had some skin issues in the past, we suspect likely due to food allergies. She is currently eating a prescription food and doing very well! Due to her health issue, her adopter MUST have a current cat and the adopter's vet must confirm that all vetting has been kept up to date throughout the cat's life. Hi I am Gigi, I am a shy girl. Don't let that scare you away from me because I do like hanging out with my people. I'd love to hang out in the kitchen while my family cooks dinner or in the bedroom when it's time to sleep. I just want to be close to those that I love. I am sure if you give me some time I'll do the same with you. I haven't been around children before so not much is known about how I will be with them. Salix is a very special flame point Siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes, one of which has a scar from a corneal ulcer. Salix is the botanical name for pussy willow and they are very willow like in look and movement - sleek and graceful and full of love to give. Salix and siblings got off to a bad start. Their mom was a gentle girl who was on her own but being fed by a kind man who cared for the little family. However,  he was at a loss when they became sick with an upper respiratory and eye infections. By the time he found Sunshine's Friends and brought them to us the kittens really needed help. With proper treatment and good nutrition Salix and siblings bounced back pretty quickly but a few of the kittens had damage to their cornea. The family of kittens has been to our vet and all have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and given a clean bill of health. Salix and brothers are now ready to go to their forever homes and bring happiness to the lucky people who adopt them. ##2087648##

Lucy is a beautiful Siamese cat with white and chocolate fur, and gorgeous blue eyes. She's very loving and playful. She is still pretty small, weighing only about 6 pounds. This darling girl gave birth to three kittens while in her foster home and has been a wonderful mama. She watched over and snuggled them, but Lucy would also love to get some attention herself! She is cuddly and loves sitting on or next to her people. Curious and sweet, she chirps when she wants some attention. Lucy has a very playful side as well and would do best in a with a person/people/cats who want to play with her. She has been good with the dogs, cats, and kids that she has met. Lucy is spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.
