He was found in heartbreaking condition after being left behind at an apartment complex in Ann Arbor by a tenant. Despite everything, he never gave up. Every day, Mochi patiently waited outside the apartment door of a kind woman who also volunteers with us and also lives in that complex, hoping someone would finally notice him. Thankfully, she opened not only her door but also her heart, taking him off the street and into her home as a foster where he finally had the chance to heal and experience the care he had been missing. Now, after receiving all of his veterinary care, Mochi is healthy, fully vetted, and ready to find a loving forever home. Mochi is affectionate, intelligent, and has all the charming Siamese personality traits. He appears to enjoy the company of other cats, but we believe he'd do best in a home without dogs or young children.
