Story
I have one kitten here and this is their mother Iris. Iris is still a kitten and will be two come this June. The only reason I have not had her fixed is because we currently don't have a vehicle and don't know when we will be getting one. She is the sweetest and most loving cat you will ever come across! She is small, light, and a beautiful looking cat! Iris is a loving cat who loves attention but she isn't so much the lap cat. She definitely has the capability of being one but our house has several cats and dogs. Iris is very sweet and loves to be around people! She doesn't need constant attention for she is very independent like your typical cat! If you're looking for a cat with low maintenance yet very loving, you have the best of both worlds with her! Any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Story
This is Ira,she's a sweet girl. She is some type of siamese, I'm sure exactly what. Im looking to rehome her because my brother is allergic and my mother wasn't aware of all the responsibilities that would come with getting her and she deserves to go somewhere where she'll be happy. She isn't spayed and already had kittens, also needs flea treatment. (Ikr)

Story
Meet Reigan, a gorgeous seal-point Siamese boy with big blue eyes and an even bigger heart—he’s just waiting for the right person to share it with. His story is a bit of a mystery. He showed up with three other cats one cold Friday night, scared and unsure, but you can tell he was once cared for. With a little patience, Reigan will let you pet him, and when he does it’s such a rewarding experience! Reigan’s figured out the best spots in his foster home—the windowsill is his favorite perch for watching birds and squirrels. He also loves to cuddle up with his foster family’s cats. He will snuggle right up on the bed with his furry friends. Reigan’s a sensitive boy, having a gentle kitty buddy around makes all the difference for him. He would absolutely thrive in a home with a confident cat to help him see that everything’s gonna be ok. On the flip side, if your cat gets bored or lonely, Reigan would be their perfect pal! He’ll dote on your kitty and keep them good company. You’ll never have to worry about them being home alone! At bedtime, you’ll often find Reigan all stretched out on a fuzzy rug, snoozing in the bedroom, or curled up in the cat tree. This handsome fella is ready for a fresh start in a peaceful home. If you’re looking for a quiet companion, reach out to meet Reigan Jr.! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Story
Sweet, beautiful, affectionate Mashed Potato is a lovely mamma cat who sent off her kittens and start a quiet new life with a loving family. Due to no fault of her own, Mashed Potato is looking for a new family now. She's not one for a lot of hoopla and will instead charm you with her beautiful green eyes and pure white fur. She's the perfect cat to have around if you just need a chill buddy to sit with you and relax on the couch. She's not really a lap cat, but she'll gladly lay beside you and offer up some adorable head rubs while she purrs you the song of her people. Mashed Potato is a mature lady, so playtime isn't really her jam. She also has an old injury that keeps her from being super active, but that doesn't mean she won't let loose every once in a while and answer your call to play. In fact, she absolutely loves her feather wand toy and it is too cute watching her chase it and proudly carry it around in her mouth! Mashed Potato would be a purrfect addition to a quiet home with a family who will be gentle and respectful to her. She's a joy to have around and she can't wait to meet you! Mashed Potato has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV cats have a virus that causes a weaker immune system - they do not have cancer! For the most part, felvies are just like any other cat. You could not pick one out of the crowd, and they generally do not require much additional care. As a bonus, we waive their adoption fees! APA! provides full coverage and treatment for any FeLV-related issues that arise after the time of adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan - we like to compare it to the lifespan of adopting a senior kitty, with the added benefit that they don't have chronic senior health problems, and that FeLV-related medical care is covered. Mashed Potato is not contagious to people, dogs or other animals, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! . All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Mashed Potato, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.

Story
Pearl is a beautiful seal lynx point siamese with crystal blue eyes.  She was found abandoned in Houston and rescued by a local family who then contacted Austin Siamese Rescue.  She came to us with her four kittens and was a wonderful mama.  She is currently living in a foster home with other kitties and dogs.  Pearl has lived with her foster family to learn to be a loved family member.  Prior to being rescued, Pearl did not have a good reason to trust people.  She has slowly copied some of her foster siblings to learn to like attention and petting.  She is comfortable with dogs and meets other cats comfortably.  She has made kitty friends in her foster home.  In the past few weeks, she has finally started to approach people for attention and petting, but she can still get anxious. Pearl will be so rewarding to help as she learns more and more to love and trust people.  You can tell she really loves petting and attention but is still anxious.  She will be able to join a home with other pets.  She will need patience to settle into her new home but she will bond closely to a person when she finally has her own family to cuddle and connect with. ##1988082##

Story
Dashi and her daughter Miso II have been surrendered by their owner and are looking for their forever home with a special family.   Dashi is a 4 year old Lynx Point Siamese that had a rough start in life. She was abandoned to survive the outdoors while pregnant. She became a part of the ASR family shortly before giving birth in 2021 to 4 beautiful kitties. She was the greatest Mom to those kitties her fosters had ever seen and even took in two orphaned kittens who were looking for a Mom.    Dashi can take a little time to trust but once she has warmed up to her new enviroment, she is a real gem. Sweet and affectionate, she seeks pets and belly rubs from her humans and loves to snuggle up at bedtime. She is not a lap cat but is very loving. She tolerates children but would do better with older children and adults.    Dashi is FIV positive and FIV-positive housecats rarely show any symptoms of the disease and usually live long, happy lives. FIV is not spread by casual contact. There is no medication or special treatment needed FIV positive kitties.  ##1967222##
